SuperJerk Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 You wanted it all to be a shoot and for Matt to see Edge at a bar somewhere and get into a brawl. Once signed by the WWE, shoot = over and you = not caring. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I quit caring before that. I'm engaged to mark. She's still insisting this one is real. There ya go. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does Stacy know about this?
Twisted Intestine Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 I quit caring about the second or third time Matt did a run in <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was signed when he was doing the run ins..
SuperJerk Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 I quit caring about the second or third time Matt did a run in <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was signed when he was doing the run ins.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Storyline wise he wasn't signed until a couple of weeks ago. I quit caring before that, but after he was signed in real life. I'm trying to figure out why I quit caring about this angle after the second run-in.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Because the novelty of him coming back had worn off?
Guest JMA Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Perhaps you knew WWE would mess it up?
Guest Ken_Anderson Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 I can't quite figure out how the WWE fucked this angle up, but its fairly obvious they did. I know I quit caring about the second or third time Matt did a run in, but I'm not sure why I feel that way. Theories? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think that even though the WWE did make some mistakes with the angle (i.e. McMahon's involvement and the Snitsky match), Matt's momentum decidedly and immediately died the second he grabbed a mic and opened his mouth. The angle could have been built PERFECTLY for weeks, but eventually Matt would have had to deliver a promo, and let's face it, like him or hate him, he can't talk to save his life. As far as Byte This goes, Matt Hardy should be thanking his lucky stars that the only people who watched the show were probably internet fans who disliked him to begin with. If this would have aired on RAW, Matt would be booed out of the building on Sunday. Who knows, maybe he will be anyway. But Edge just totally DESTROYED Hardy. Edge was so biting, and so cool, that he honestly made Hardy look like the six year old he pegged him to be.
Ravenbomb Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 face it, like him or hate him, he can't talk to save his life.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought he did pretty good in the original V1 days
CanadianGuitarist Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 This is a work, I'm sorry. Nothing you can say will convince me otherwise. If my significant other fooled around on me with anyone at all, I certainly wouldn't appear on a talk show semi-peacefully with them.
The Czech Republic Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 I don't think there's a big enough for this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can always tell an OAO Raw Board alumnus
Ravenbomb Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 Ok, wait, was this a work from the beginning (the cheating) or not?
Guest Shark Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 Ok, wait, was this a work from the beginning (the cheating) or not? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No.
SuperJerk Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 Because the novelty of him coming back had worn off? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Winnah~! face it, like him or hate him, he can't talk to save his life.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought he did pretty good in the original V1 days <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with Ravenbomb. His early V1 stuff was pretty good.
Guest Brian Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 He cut a ton of really good promos in his OMEGA days, both under and without a mask (two personas at once).
