Toxxic Posted August 25, 2005 Author Report Posted August 25, 2005 PAY-PER-VIEW OF THE YEAR AWARD -Ground Zero. Two sites, two shows, new World Champion, awesome Casino Brawl and I retire. Can't get better than that. THE MAYOR McCHEESE COMEDIC MOMENT OF THE YEAR AWARD -Danny meets Giant Baba -Fuvolution -'Murder and Pimping in Romania' THE BLAZENWING MEMORIAL TROPHY - FOR 'TOOL' OF THE YEAR -Perfect Bo, for bitching about not being included on the retirees page on the SWF website when all he had to do was add his own stats -Johnny Dangerous, for no-showing the main event of Genesis V THE STUBBY P. McWEED TROPHY - FOR BOOKER OF THE YEAR -Chris Raynor. All the fun of Thoth, with far more attention to storylines.
chirs3 Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 (edited) Are out-of-character moments allowed for Comedic Moment? If so, I think this should get a nod. It wasn't as classic as the Blazenwing tooling or the Judge/Gun incident, but it still had its moments. [7:26:04 PM:] Kibagami: Kevo, this thing where you play along with our conversation as though you were capable of being funny is a complete failure. EDIT: What the hell am I thinking? I forgot two obvious ones: 1. Calvinball - IL wins the Hardcore Title in the most awesome way possible. 2. Revolution Zero Rap - Words cannot even describe it. Edited August 26, 2005 by chirs3
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 The Pay Per View of the Year Award From the Fire '05 The Mayor McCheese Comedic Moment of the Year Award Pretzler vs. the Pope The Blazenwing Memorial Trophy - For ”Tool” of the Year No vote; I'm not a big fan of this tooling stuff. The Stubby P. McWeed Trophy - For Booker of the Year Thomas. F. Flesher
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I think it's Thomas M. Flesher, but I could be mistaken.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted August 28, 2005 Report Posted August 28, 2005 That was more sort of an honorific, as in "Thomas Fucking Flesher."
Toxxic Posted September 3, 2005 Author Report Posted September 3, 2005 So why not have Thomas Motherfucking Flesher? Just a thought.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 Eh, "motherfucker" is considered disrespectful in my circles... "Fucking" is okay, though; it's kind of like the difference between "damn" and "God damn," only... different...
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 That difference is retarded.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 :: shrugs :: Retarded or not, the FCC seems to agree, at least as far as G*d-damn goes.
Golgo 13 Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 The FCC is the Federal Communications Commission, a US government agency that most famously regulates radio and network television. They're dicks.
Bruce Blank Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 The FCC loves the Family Friendly Lockdown though
Toxxic Posted September 5, 2005 Author Report Posted September 5, 2005 You gotta love the fact that WC will do promos with swearing bleeped out for Smarkdown, but leaves his uncensored entrance music in for Family Friendly Lockdown. 30 seconds of that, and he's racked up more fines that Spike in a month
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 You gotta love the fact that WC will do promos with swearing bleeped out for Smarkdown, but leaves his uncensored entrance music in for Family Friendly Lockdown. 30 seconds of that, and he's racked up more fines that Spike in a month Well... to the best of my recollection, I've only been booked on Lockdown once since it became "family friendly." And that was just lazy writing on my part; I will endeavor not to be that sloppy in the future.
muzz Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I'm old and bitter, huh? God, you're a prick.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 .... What? Who the hell is that addressed to, anyway?
