BruiserKC Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 And yes...in 2002 Iowa State beat Iowa and was Iowa's only regular season loss.
Bored Posted September 10, 2005 Author Report Posted September 10, 2005 HOLY CRAP...Northern Illinois scores a touchdown with six seconds left against Northwestern and instead of going for the tie they go for the win. Two point conversion fails. Northwestern wins 38-37. What is up with MAC coaches today? It's hailing in Corvallis right now.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 Since tonight is a fairly big game, I decided to open a chatroom on aim go to tsmgame
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Man, this game truly feels like a National Championship game.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 and yet, for some reason I dont think this will be the classic we are hoping for. Let me be wrong.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I'm thinking the exact same thing. Last year, USC-OU was supposed to be the best game ever and we all know what happened there. The nerves are very evident early for Ohio State with two easy drops.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I'm thinking the exact same thing. Last year, USC-OU was supposed to be the best game ever and we all know what happened there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This has more of the Texas/Michigan feel to it where you feel "It could be great or it could really suck"... Time will tell for this game.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Young with a big play. As the announcers said, OSU needs to remain patient.
teke184 Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 In the 2nd quarter, Citadel 10, Florida State 3. This is one fucked-up week of football...
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 10-10 now but the fact that The Citadel scored more points on FSU than Miami did is quite interesting.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Near DISASTER turned into a spectacular play. Edit: Oh God.. What a horrible play by Young.
Guest J0bber Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 The Citadel's fifteen minutes of fame is already up as they are getting their ass handed to them now that FSU has just gotten 3 touchdowns to make the game 34-10.
Vern Gagne Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Florida St still needs an new offensive cordinator.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Another mistake by the Longhorns. They were controlling the game early but they are now just shooting themselves in the foot time after time.
Guest J0bber Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 On a related note to a Division I-AA team almost pulling off an upset, Nicholls State, an I-AA school affected by Hurricane Katrina almost defeated Indiana earlier today. Indiana made the game winning touchdown with just 48 ticks left. Then again, it's Indiana. Why should anyone care?
Vern Gagne Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 These FG's are gonna come back and hurt OSU.
Slayer Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I hate both teams with a passion, but fuck is it a good game
Damaramu Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Ok I have no fucking clue who is going to win this game. They're just trading blows at this point.
Bored Posted September 11, 2005 Author Report Posted September 11, 2005 Oregon State goes up 30-27 on Boise State with a minute left. And the Beavers hold on.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Another pick and another OSU field goal. Vince Young really is the next Vick.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 When is Texas going to learn and stop kicking to Ginn and Holmes? And why in the hell would Tressell take Troy Smith out?
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Beautiful game. I love being wrong.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Wow. That was a big play by the Texas defense. This has been just a spectacular game.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Come on USM, kick 'Bama in the teeth. Partly because I lived in Hattiesburg, and partly because I now live in Auburn. Plus, I went to school with one of Jeff Bower's daughters.
CanadianChris Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Man, Texas has got to stop those pitch-out plays. They're nearly getting killed every time.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Texas appears to be falling apart now.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 If Texas goes on to loose this game it will because of no playmakers at WR. That's the difference right now. Ohio State's recievers are making plays when they need to and Texas' simply aren't. Or maybe Vince Young isn't letting his recievers make plays. Either one.
therealworldschampion Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 OSU will just stick to Tresselball here and hope to hang on for the win.
Urban Warfare Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 Texas needs a play in the worst way on third down here. I think any kind of score here pretty well ends it for Texas.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 11, 2005 Report Posted September 11, 2005 I'm very disappointed in Iowa getting stomped. They won't lose again. I think their heads were too big with plenty of hype and then dismantling some losers.
