Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Gary Michael Cappetta used to do it when he was a ring announcer.
Fökai Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 It's also how most boxing announcers introduce fighters.
dubq Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 In the dark-match pre-Velocity, Kid Kash and Brian Kendrick d. a generic looking tag team. They fought themselves?
Golgo 13 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Tell me, does Burchill get to be thrown around and shown up with armdrags again?
nl5xsk1 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 While we're talking about things being ribs at other people, is Palmer Canon a rib at anyone? Or is it just a stereotypical bourgeoisie name?
Dark Age Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 In the dark-match pre-Velocity, Kid Kash and Brian Kendrick d. a generic looking tag team. They fought themselves? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spanky isn't generic, man.
ChrisMWaters Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Well, at least half of what I wanted for the main event of this show happened, and JBL lost. ...now if only the Network guy had Lesnar re-debut.
Guest JMA Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Why is the Undertaker still summoning lightning bolts? Do we really need cartoony stuff like that? Also, if he has these powers, then why doesn't he just incinerate Team Orton with a wave of his hand? Why go through all the trouble of wrestling someone when you have magic powers? Furthermore, why is the Undertaker constantly beaten with finishing moves and chair-shots but can survive--with little to no injury--being buried alive, set on fire, and rammed with trucks? There's a limit to suspension of disbelief.

He's won a lot of matches to store up the powers, but they fade just a bit whenever he loses.

Kardo Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 What's hilarious is watching GAB 1990 today and JR putting Mean Mark over as a well educated man with a degree in sports management. COuld you imagine the announce team saying that now?
cabbageboy Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 I wish I could have seen GAB 90 but it was off the 24/7 by the time I got the channel. Gotta love seeing a pasty Mean Mark before he put on the full length black UT outfit, haha.

Like what Kane has, but with magic instead of pain.
Ravenbomb Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 I wish to Buddha that WWE would've hired Edward Lee to write the Kane book. I'd definately buy that.

Guest Zarock Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 My reasoning for the UT's apparently scary yet wholy ineffective lightning bolts is that the Ortons are just really scared of thunder storms. Kinda like Prince of Space and Krankor's weapons.
