I saw Emily Rose and actually liked it. Then again I wasn't expecting it to be part thriller/part courtroom drama. It had a good story and other than the somewhat lacking acting on the part of the girl who played Emily Rose it was quite good.

"WEDDING CRASHERS HAS MADE HOW MUCH?!?!?!?!?!?

It just wasn't that good, people."

Once the movie industry is based on what you think and not how much money something makes, it'll finally be recognized for the bomb it was always supposed to be.

I feel bad for 40YOV, it's been no lower than 2 since it came out and yet it still hasn't made over 100 mil.

Oh yeah, I feel so sorry for an R-rated comedy starring Steve Carell with a budget of under 30 million that probably wasn'e expected to bring in more than 40 million in it's whole theatrical AND dvd run that has made 82 million dollars in 3 weeks. So sorry*

*Actually do not feel sorry for movie

There's no need to worry about The 40 Year-Old Virgin--as stated, it's already surpassed its budget in a big way. I see it having strong legs too due to the great reviews and word of mouth.

It and Wedding Crashers will probably do big buisness in DVD sales as well.

That's a pretty big dropoff between #1 and #2, isn't it?
