LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2005 I saw Emily Rose and actually liked it. Then again I wasn't expecting it to be part thriller/part courtroom drama. It had a good story and other than the somewhat lacking acting on the part of the girl who played Emily Rose it was quite good.
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2005 WEDDING CRASHERS HAS MADE HOW MUCH?!?!?!?!?!? It just wasn't that good, people.
Guest JMA Report post Posted September 11, 2005 Good to see Wedding Crasher doing so well. It certainly deserves it.
Guest Fishyswa Report post Posted September 12, 2005 "WEDDING CRASHERS HAS MADE HOW MUCH?!?!?!?!?!? It just wasn't that good, people." Once the movie industry is based on what you think and not how much money something makes, it'll finally be recognized for the bomb it was always supposed to be. I feel bad for 40YOV, it's been no lower than 2 since it came out and yet it still hasn't made over 100 mil.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 I saw it (40 YOV) for the second time earlier today. Still fucking hilarious. "Life's not about butthole pleasures"

So sorry* *Actually do not feel sorry for movie
Guest JMA Report post Posted September 12, 2005 There's no need to worry about The 40 Year-Old Virgin--as stated, it's already surpassed its budget in a big way. I see it having strong legs too due to the great reviews and word of mouth.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 It and Wedding Crashers will probably do big buisness in DVD sales as well. That's a pretty big dropoff between #1 and #2, isn't it?
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 I saw Emily Rose today, wasn't that great. Had fun after the movie though I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the 40 Year Old Virgin is still raking it in! EXCELENT movie
Cherry Blossom Viscount 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 Nobody mentioned how badly "The Man" bombed. The premise did look horribly bad though, like a parody of a movie you see in one of those films about the movie industry.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 The Man had bomb written all over it. I figured it would do better than underclassman though
Cherry Blossom Viscount 0 Report post Posted September 12, 2005 Eugene Levy is sooooo 2003, and should only stick to minor supporting roles, and Samuel L. was obviously just looking for a paycheck here.
