Dips Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Tonight on Raw, according to WWE.com: - John Cena vs. Kurt Angle & Tyson Tomko in a handicap match. - Ric Flair vs. Chris Masters. - The site also talks about Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch following up their Raw debut last week, where they defeated Hurricane & Rosey. Do we have to see John Cena in ANOTHER 2-on-1 match?! Please let Angle and Tomko beat him in this match! Not looking like the best of shows tonight.
Downhome Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 I'm just glad they are finally doing something creative with John Cena tonight for a change.
Gary Floyd Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 I'm not going to be able to watch tonight. I've gotta go to class. Then again, I might be able to watch some of it tonight.
benoit4hor Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 I really hope they're just dogging it lately to piss off Spike. As dumb as that sounds, they can't think anybody wants to see Tomko in a ring with Cena right?
razazteca Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Masters is getting the Randy Orton push now....beat up drunk grumpy old men for cheap heat? I bet Flair will get out of the masterlock with a eye poke.

Silence Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Might grab his testicles after last week's goings on.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...and JR will shoot on us again in the Ross Report for that comment.
BorneAgain Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 What I want Kerwin to say if Benjamin attacks or attempts to beat him up out of revenge for last week. "Shelton Benjamin doesn't care about white people."
razazteca Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 I want to see Shelton steal the golf cart with JR & King's reaction to be "HE'S LOOTING!".
Dangerous A Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 (edited) edited for quality It's sad there is a ppv this coming sunday and Cena v Angle is the only thing that is remotely built up well and that's only because Angle has been booked strong the last month. Edge v Hardy could be decent, but it's been killed dead with Hardy's constant jobbing. Hardy is obviously being taught a lesson. Snitsky v Big Show. I don't have to say much. Carlito v Flair. Ugh. Even Carlito's charisma is starting to fade fast since he's been moved to the Raw roster. Masters v HBK. Gimme a break. Texas Rednecks 2K5 v Hurricane and Rosey. In ring may not be bad, too bad WWE could give two shits about the tag titles. If they don't care about the tag belts, why should you or I? Kerwin v Shelton. I'm definitely not feeling watching Shelton job to this joke of a gimmick, I don't care how much Shelton doesn't connect with the crowd. Did Shelton piss in Vince or HHH's cornflakes or something? Definitely not worth $34.95. Save your money. As for tonight's show, I'll be watching it Tivo'd tommorrow or something. MNF has Eagles v Falcons. ChrisMWaters Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I guess it should be expected, but it's a pretty slow pre-Raw thread thus far.
BorneAgain Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I guess it should be expected, but it's a pretty slow pre-Raw thread thus far. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eh, I think most people believe that close to nothing of importance will happen until they're back on USA. They're probably right.

They're probably right. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kinda like when WCW was switching booking teams from Nash to Russo and Ferrara. Except, for the most part, nothing much of any importance happened afterwards either. (sorry for that. Been re-reading "The Death of WCW" again.)
BorneAgain Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Yeah, but even then there were promises (albeit false ones) of something of note happening. They don't even seem to care about promoting the show outside of the USA return. I mean does Tomko/Angle vs. Cena really sound like a promising match?
ChrisMWaters Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 ...holy... No Bischoff picture...no opening song. They're rushing into things and changing up!
Guest ian. Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Is tonight a supershow? Black ropes...
Conspiracy_Victim Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Opening? We don't need no stinkin' opening! They don't do the cold start very often anymore.
BorneAgain Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Still Mr. Money in the Bank it seems. edit: And for the WWE title no less.
Downhome Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Holy crap, they actually mentioned Edge's contract.
ChrisMWaters Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 And thus, now we know Edge will challenge Cena or someone in the near future.
BUTT Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Is tonight a supershow? Black ropes... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes.
Anakin Flair Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 what is with the sound tonight?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I figure Edge will take his title shot at Taboo Tuesday. Edge vs Cena wouldn't be too bad although it would get a rediculous stipulation.
The Amazing Rando Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Opening? We don't need no stinkin' opening! They don't do the cold start very often anymore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cold Opening: The Big Show vs. Edge Why why why must we continue to see Edge. I'll tell you, I would love so much to see Jimmy Fallon in that ring with The Big Show right now. It's just all silly jokes with no real punchline or flow. I'd rather have Jimmy laughing at Big Show's size than trying to deal with Edge's horrible pacing. ** - two stars. hopefully next week there'll be more guests and maybe a Horotio Sanz appearance.
