2GOLD Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Baylor doesn't have a winnable game on their schedule the rest of the way, they'll end up 4-7 at best if they pull an upset some where. Vanderbilt has three winnable games left to get to 6-5. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Everyone in the Big 12 is very beatable though. Baylor could end up with a 6-5 record if they continue to play like they are. And for the "UCLA cannot stop Peterson" crowd: 21 carries, 57 yards, 1 TD and a fumble.
Carnival Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 STUFFED! and nebraska pulls it off. Man Iowa State is gonna KILL them next week.
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 The problems with OU are frustrating. It's not a lack of talent. They have all the talent in the world. The problem is that the bullheaded coaches thought that they had the same team that they did last year and trained them all spring and summer to run the exact same offense that they ran last season. Then they get out their running Jason White and Mark Clayton's offense and go "OH SHIT! We don't have a big play QB or reciever! What do we do?" And they sit around with their mouthes hanging open trying to figure out how to fit these kids into White's offense. Either that or an Alien that doesn't know football has taken over Bob Stoops.
2GOLD Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Man, if Michigan State even had SIGNS of a defense they would have put this game away. 38-31 MSU, we got a shoot-out in the Golden Dome.
Urban Warfare Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 The Miami-Clemson game looks like it'll be coming down to a good finish.
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I think Rhett Bomar may have more rushing yards than Peterson before sacks. HEY! Chuck Long! You big fucking retard! EVERYONE KNOWS ADRIAN PETERSON IS YOUR ONLY PLAYMAKER.......YOU NEED TO DEVELOP NEW ONES. BOMAR IS SHOWING YOU HIS STRENGTH......USE IT IN THE FUTURE.
Urban Warfare Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I'd tell Dama to calm down, but I'll probably be doing the same thing tonight.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I feel sorry for old Clemson fans. This comeback shit can't be good for their hearts.
teke184 Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Clemson has the ball deep in Miami territory, 2nd down and 10 to go with 26 seconds left. EDIT- 4th down. Clemson better kick the FG and go to overtime.
teke184 Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 FG is good. Clemson has to keep Miami from scoring for the next 15 seconds.
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I'd tell Dama to calm down, but I'll probably be doing the same thing tonight. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm ok. At least it'll give me something good to write about this week. Bob Stoops had better fucking figure this team out though and learn how to use them and what to do to win. I mean it's not like he's in danger of losing his job but if this shit continues there will be some heat on him. But how about UCLA? I mean granted OU isn't that good(i wouldn't say they totally suck but they aren't good) but they're playing good. Does this make everyone think they have a better shot of knocking USC off? And man what's OU's record going to be this season? I mean they're 68-13 over the past 6 years......a 6-5 season just seems unthinkable but it looks like a reality! That's just crazy.
Urban Warfare Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Got it, we're going to overtime. (Unless Hester does something crazy)
Bored Posted September 17, 2005 Author Report Posted September 17, 2005 Larry Coker's job is going to start being in jeopardy if Miami loses here. Their chances at a BCS bowl would be gone with two conference losses. With the conference looking so tough this year even a decent bowl (Gator, Peach) might slip away as well.
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I don't understand the officials going nuts about UCLA beating OU like they just dominated the OU that has terrorized the Big XII for the past 5 years. I think the jerseys should say "Oklahoma Lite" for the rest of the season.
2GOLD Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 No, UCLA has no shot at USC. While it's easy to figure out what you have to stop to stop the Sooners, USC has too many weapons and UCLA just doesn't show enough to make me believe they can take down USC.
2GOLD Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 I don't understand the officials going nuts about UCLA beating OU like they just dominated the OU that has terrorized the Big XII for the past 5 years. I think the jerseys should say "Oklahoma Lite" for the rest of the season. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> By definition, yes they did just beat the OU that has terrorized the Big 12 for the last five years. It's the program, not the players. Not to mention they have slammed the door on Peterson's Heisman Trophy bid, what little light there was left in that crack. Plus they have made it so OU can kiss a shot at the National Title goodbye. Far as I'm concerned, that's reason to go nuts.
Bored Posted September 17, 2005 Author Report Posted September 17, 2005 Time to burn your retinas, Oregon is sporting their neon yellow unis tonight.
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Wow this MSU/ND game is crazy. Even though OU sucks this season I think I'm really enjoying this college football season thus far. Some good shit going on out there. Yes 2GOLD they beat the program OU. But they really didn't beat the OU that has terrorized the Big XII for the past 5 years. They beat a shell of OU. But it was a good win. Yes. The thing was at least we saw some flashes of brilliance from Bomar. Apparently when you let the kid use his legs he can do some good stuff. So I have hope for him to turn into a solid QB. And hey he's just a redshirt freshman! Actually most of this team are freshmen and sophomores. So they have the talent there to build and be good again. Unfortunately it's jsut going to follow a cycle. They're so loaded with young players that they're going to get really good and then lose them all again and have a repeat of this again! Oh and turnovers! Guys hold onto the fucking football! I'm still trying to figure out OU's record this season. They're 1-2 now. We can pretty much call Texas a loss. And I'm not to sold they can even beat KSU in 2 weeks! We know how purple is to OU. It's like kryptonite. Also the first time in 6 years that OU will not be ranked. Yikes. The crazy thing is that they can still win the Big XII! But yeah that's not going to happen. So does anyone think that if OU finishes 6-5 or with a losing record that Stoops will lose his job?
teke184 Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Clemson has the first down on, roughly, the Miami 15. They're moving pretty good, though, so they'll probably score in a second.
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Oh and I believe there is a battle in the Swamp tonight. Let's get it on!
therealworldschampion Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Notre Dame has just tied this game at 38. Gotta give them credit, being down 14-21 points they may have just quit under Willingham.
2GOLD Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Touchdown ND. The MIST defense is no existant. Quinn has thrown for 477 and HE might be in the Heisman race now.
Guest Smues Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Fucking Notre Dame. And wow oh wow are those Oregon jerseys hard on the eyes.
Guest TheDon Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Notre Dame just tied the game? What??????
Urban Warfare Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 Fumble by MSU, recovered by ND.
Urban Warfare Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 WOW. What a play by Charlie Whitehurst there.
Downhome Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 This Clemson game is fucking fantastic~!!!!
Damaramu Posted September 17, 2005 Report Posted September 17, 2005 This game is pure insanity.....I love it. ND 3-0? They can't go undefeated with this crazy schedule.....can they? Oh my friend and I made up a fake fraternity at OU called Alpha Sigma Sigma. I think we have some shirts:
