Red Baron Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Anyone see the hit on Roenick from Gauthier last night?
Guest Rrrsh Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 The Ruutu hit was nicer. I think Roneick took a nice shot, but it wasnt too nasty. I fear that he has the equiv of a glass jaw to a boxer and will retire soon.
Dogbert Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 If Roenick had been on the receiving end of the Ruutu hit, he'd have complained for weeks. Also, Sean Avery is a shit.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2005 Author Report Posted September 28, 2005 Sean Avery needs to stop watching Coach's Corner. That was a Cherryesque rant if I ever heard one. Speaking of CBC (kind of), they managed to upgrade the announcing on the second half of the HNIC doubleheader. Jim Hughson is coming in to team with Greg Millen.
the max Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=137945 I'm torn here. On one hand, I want the Bruins to have one of their best defensemen in camp and ready to go by opening night. They need his physicality and skating. However, has Nick proven himself enough to make 2 million a year? Don't get me wrong, he's a very good player but really, 2 million a year for Nick Boynton? Get to camp, Nick. 1.75 million is a very good one year contract. He's not eligible for UFA for another two years.
Red Baron Posted September 29, 2005 Report Posted September 29, 2005 I'm intrigued with Hughston and Miller. Hughston needs a good Colour Commentator and preferably I like it. Is Cuthbart going to broadcast any hockey games on TSN?
the max Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Curtis Leschyshyn retired today after 16 seasons. He was a solid role-player for Quebec/Colorado and Ottawa. He won a Cup in 1995-96 with the Avs and was a first round pick. http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?ID=138619 The Thrashers are hoping to meet Kovalchuk when he comes to Atlanta to see his daughter. This is pretty much a last ditch effort for them. They NEED Kovalchuk. If he plays in Russia after Wednesday, in order for Atlanta to sign him this year, he'd have to clear waivers. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=138648
Guest I miss Test. Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Let's move all hockey to Russia.
