Anybody on here going to Wrestlemania 22 in Chicago? If so what are your plans?I'm thinking about going, but still haven't made up my mind.

I'm sensing gimmick poster, but I'll bite anyways...

I live in Milwaukee, so I am planning to go. My only worry... getting tickets. Anyone ever bought WM tickets before? WWE claiming that WM 21 tix sold out in less than a minute has me wondering if I'll even be able to GET tickets...

and how much to they go for?

I'm probably going considering the fact that I live about five minutes away from the Allstate Arena.

I wouldn't go even if they came to the Dunkin Donuts Center here in Providence.

(Yeah, I'm a liar, but any kind of Wrestlemania card in March 2006 will be dismal at best, given the talent they have right now.)

Well, Armageddon 2005 is coming to Providence on December 11. Will you be going to that?

So far I've been to three Manias (2000, X-7, XX) but I don't think I can make it next year. For the first two I had no problem getting tix via Ticketmaster, specially X-7 since the Astrodome holds so many seats. For WMXX I had to get the tickets from EBay which is probably the way to go if you don't get them on the day of release or something like that. Of course depending on where you wish to be seated prices vary (you might check WWE.com if they're listing prices already) but you know that on EBay they usually get even steeper.

Another choice is some site called source4tickets.com or something like that. I remember them having several SummerSlam tickets available (good ones too) after I bought mine on Ticketmaster and they were reportedly sold out. Their prices are somewhat EBay-range, of course.

I'm sure I'll be going - it will be a 6-8 hour drive from MN here but it will be worth it, as ROH will probably have a Fri or Sat nite show too, plus perhaps a chance to check out a few Cubs games at Wrigley.

Tickets will definately go fast, but hopefully not a ton of people will know about the presale code, although I expect them to as way back in April and May, WWE was already passing out postcards at live events that people could send in to recieve their pre-sale code at a later date.

Went to Mania XIX and got comp tickets through WWE, so I couldnt complain there. Had to go through Ebay for Mania 21 tickets - pretty much got them at face value.

the 2 min sell out thing is BS I think. You should register for the preorder, where you can buy your tix online like a day before they go on sale, I had the chance last year for wm 21 here in LA, but I didnt know If I would be able to go in april (thats another thing you have to buy tix 6 months before, who knows whatll happen in 6 months?)

My friends are thinking about it. Considering it's a Smackdown! PPV, I, personally, am erring on the side of "no".

I've been to 3 Wrestlemanias too (X8, 19, & XX) but all three times I got the travel packages from WWE.com which included tix so I never had to worry about getting them myself. If I do go this year I'll have to get the tix myself so if I decide by Oct. I'll try to get them when they go on sale, but if not I'm sure I'll be able to find some on ebay.

I want to go again this year. I went to X8 and XX, so I'm kind of an a bi-annual WM schedule.

Anyone have any idea when tickets go on sale for 22 or where to register for preorders?

Oh, really? Me too, I live in Wexford. Hey if you do decide to go to Wrestlemania, Southwest Airlines has airfare starting at $29.00 from Pittsburgh International to Chicago Midway. (Part of the reason I'm considering going is cuz the airfare's so cheap.)

I'm in Indiana, and have thought of making a road trip, but in seriousness I doubt I'll be able to afford it. I guess I should have taken the chance I had in 92.

A Friend and I are going up on the 14th of October to spend the night with the diehards at Allstate before tix go on sale on the 15th at 10am. I've done this once before with Raw tickets and it was good fun, bu Wrestlemania will be different, and since the arena is right across from O'Hare I would expect alot more people from all over the country and possibly the world. I'm excited, Wrestling fans...especially smart ones...are fun to be around and talk with. Perhaps all the TSM people who are planning on going could meet up at the Allstate that day? I have a feeling it will be an equal amount of smarks vs. marks...leveling the playing field would be a good thing.

In this day and age, I dont get why people camp out at a ticket office to get tickets. There's so many other ways to get tickets right away when they go on sale (phone, internet, etc) and also when you include the pre-sale, it just baffles me. Plus if last year was any indication, Mania tickets (and with face value) are going to be plentiful on Ebay and even Ticketmaster, literally days before the show.

I think its more about the experience than just getting tickets.

True, but there is just other ways to get better seats if that is what it all comes down to. You can score a much better seat by being online (especially for the pre-sale) versus waiting in line.

I'm seriously considering going, I live about 6hrs from Chicago, so a road trip in conceivable, just depends on what ticket prices run I guess.

As long as I have a good view of the ring, I'd be satisfied, I mean come on it is WreslteMania, it's the one show that Vince does like to have more pluses than minuses.

I'd love to go WM in Chicago, but the odds are I'd have to go with my markish Grandad, and I could'nt get shitfaced in front of him. It'd be like going on date with our parents shaporoning (sp? I'm way wrong I know) the whole time.

Nice to see some PA people in this thread.

My only interest in Wrestlemania 22 is seeing Bret Hart inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Is Bret being inducted at WM 22 a real possiblity? Cuz if so that would pretty much seal the deal on me going, I've been a fans of his since I was like 7, and seeing him back in the WWE would be historic.
