alfdogg 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 Very segment-heavy tonight, as you'll be able to tell. I must have posted at least 6 or 7 segments before the first match.
Stephen Joseph 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 The Love Shack? I loved it! Great way to end the show!
KingPK 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 A good follow-up to DD. What I was involved in was a hell of a lot better than what I planned to do myself (though I wrote some funny segments, dammit). Really, Fall River is like 15 minutes from Providence. WHERE WERE THE PK FANS?! I think Zack was paying off people, taking a cue from most RI politicians. Yeah, it was mostly promos and skits, but post-PPV shows usually are like that to build up stuff for the next PPV. Besides, the main event (which I wrote a bit of) was a good match. Tony149 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 (edited) A good follow-up to DD. What I was involved in was a hell of a lot better than what I planned to do myself (though I wrote some funny segments, dammit). Are you going to use it next week? We had similar plans, which I put off until next week. If you're going to use it for the next show let me know so I can hold off on using what I have planned for the week after. Feedback: Great opening segment. From Candie's return, to the fireworks between Zack, SG, and PK. "Masshole"? Ha! Always like it when we do ads/commericals. at Calvin sticking it to Alf by basically telling Stevens to get involved in the HL title match. SJ's segment served its purpose. One thing: CWM has been off the shows since AS, so that should've been mentioned. Grouping the TLC-led beatdown, SJ promo and Heyross/Richards segments: Very solid. Nothing bad there. The CWM-SJ match made me feel much more confident in myself as a match writer. Looked like a rush job. Still, it was a good effort. Entertaining. And boy, will you have a lot of jobs to return. The CW/Parka stuff was handled very well. CW heckling Parka after he explained why he didn't show up at DD was funny. Good match between Alf-Brock. Excellent ME. I've really been enjoying the short reign of Zack and Leon as tag champs so far. The squence were Zack and SG block each other's superkicks and ends with Zack countering the Someplex into a bulldog was my favorite part of the match. Honorable mention to the slam series. Yeah, my feedback now includes spots I marked out for. The Love Shack was awesome. Lots of great bits in there. Laughed throughout. KingPK 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 Nope, you can go ahead and do it Tony. How did I forget the Love Shack? Hilarious. So will it be a post-show thing from now on?
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 How did I forget the Love Shack? Hilarious. So will it be a post-show thing from now on? Yep. Okay, beefback time! Zack = cheap heat. But, in a good way. Candie is back and considering I'm running that Women's Division thingy, that's a good thing. Zack says stuff, but gets cut off by Some Guy and then PK...who's inexplicably become a heel overnight. Or, over four nights. Not that that's neccessarily a bad thing, considering what the top line looks like currently. Tag Titles, later on awesome. And it'll be right here, on TSM. *steals Zack's cheap heat* Tension between Alf and Cal. I smell a match on the horizon. Good to see CSI still on the show...OMG, WHERE AMZ TEH HODD!?! Decent little segment from SJ and CWM...the actual attack seemed a little rushed though. Thumbs up on the Lightning Crew beatdown. Little twerp isn't exactly a cutting insult though, you insignificant sponge! Short but sweet interview from SJ. And a short but sweet segment with Heyross and Richards too. Did I say short but sweet already? Because that applies to SJ vs. CWM too. K, thanks. Stuff from me which, as usual, is superlative. Which is typical, because I couldn't think of any ridiculously long, ye olde British sounding words when I needed them for the segment. Great match from Alf against Brock, really enjoyed it. Offering some constructive criticism, it seemed a little odd that Alf was throwing Brock around at the end, maybe a little too easily, after Brock basically murderised him in the first couple of minutes. But other than that, very entertaining stuff. Schiavone brings the SHILL~! One of the best matches ever in the history of the sport? What is this, Nitro? Headlined by Sid? I'm a total mark for The Man Of Tommorrow, but he needs a couple more catchphrases. After all, Steiner had about ten towards the end of WCW. The Big Bad, Re-Booty Daddy maybe? And finally, Zack bringing the awesome in the main event. If I'd had known he was going to do a GPX beatdown at the end, I might have mentioned it in The Shack, because as it is it seems a bit odd that they get beat down and a few hours later, they're acting like nothing happened. Anyway, as I mentioned, awesome main event. Kudos to Zack for handling it too. And, finally finally, Love Shack time. Which, by all accounts, is pretty good for a complete ad-lib. And a rushed one at that. Beside the obvious non-GPX mentioning, I'm shocked that I had that long of a promo with Zack and didn't mention Kelly Clarkson once. Must. Do. Better. Stephen Joseph 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 Yeah, my segments were rushed. Co-Workers going away party @ work. The Love Shack must occur every week. Seriously, the Ventura line had me rolling.

The Big Bad, Re-Booty Daddy maybe? Patty gave me a bunch of nicknames, he's the one who came up with "Psycho Gremlin" moniker. Too bad I didn't save them. I do like your suggested though. Speaking of Ventura (still sporting the pirate look), I happened to be channel surfing last night and stumbled upon his interview on The Big Idea on CNBC. Apparently he's moving out of the country. The only hint he gave on where is that its somewhere warm.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 PK...who's inexplicably become a heel overnight. Or, over four nights. Not that that's neccessarily a bad thing, considering what the top line looks like currently. Well, he's not a heel per se, just extremely frustrated that he lost the biggest match of his career and went out there to vent. He kind of got roped into the tag match and when he lost, the frustration came back. Though why did he not help Zack when the GPX attacked, hmm?
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted October 1, 2005 I studied Eddy/Brock a little bit and used it as the basic outline for my match...in fact, it's nearly spot-for-spot for the first five minutes or so...then kind of just went into my own thing late in the match. And dammit, if Shawn Michaels can magically heal like that late in the match, so can I. I'll do some feedback eventually, right now I'm writing the bonus match which was mentioned early in this show.
