Big Ol' Smitty 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Plaxico Burress, 6 receptions, over 100+ yard recieving, and 2 TDs in the first half. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> sitting on my bench like a chump
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Mike Martz tries to get too cute with the offence and it leads to a fumble within 10 yards of the goaline. Martz looking like a dummy was all i really wanted out of this game, and so far it's delivering on that front.

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 2, 2005 NO MORE PENALTIES!! 12 FOR 102 Yards today from 'Nati... 13 for 112 Yards.... Marvin...You are TIED with the worst team in the NFL and why is that? because your team are getting called for penalties on every damn play. Do something about it, it's been a theme for 4 weeks now. Bengals tack on a FG. The score should read 27-10 but with the penalties, The Bengals kept the Texans alive as the score is merely 13-10. David Carr does his Vick impersonation and saves the drive with a run.. WOW. A BAD BAD BAD BAD CALL FROM THE REFS that went in the favor of the Bengals. it was clearly a incomplete pass but they say the Bengals recovered a loose ball. 14 penalties for 117 yards for the Bengals... the Bengals will go for a 46 FG... AND...good! Carr gets Sacked on the final play of the game and the Bengals hold on to win 16-10.

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 2, 2005 I'm just shocked the Chargers are making the Pats look human. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Patriots have been exposed and with the lost of many *KEY* players, they will look human often this season. Luckily the AFC East is hardly competitive since NYJ and Buffalo appear to have already quit the season, so NE will slide into the Playoffs...
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Eli Manning's having what would surely be the best game of his career so far, 260 Yards with 4 TD's, and with over a quarter left and the Rams unable to stop anything Eli could/should end up with monster numbers today. Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 OK 'Nati wins as expected, but what the hell was that review call? If that make that call a couple of years ago, the Patriots don't make it to the Super Bowl. Carr's arm was hit but the ball was CLEARLY in his possession. Otherwise the ball wouldn't have gone 4 yards forward and hit the OLman in the back. Horrible homer call.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Cincinnati Bengals Good: They showed they could hold a lead and win a close game. Carson Palmer had another good game Bad: They allowed the Houston Texans to stay close and the PENALTIES! They didn't impress anyone today with those penalties. They need to really work those major flaws out for next week with JAX. An ugly win is still a win but there's no excuse for that many mistakes.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 HAHAHAHAHHAA, JETS WITH A FORCED FUMBLE AND DEFENSIVE TD ON THE FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME! oooooooo.....off-setting penaltys......nevermind
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Plaxico Burress now has over 200 yards receiving to go with his 2 TD's and was just inches away from another, the Rams haven't even come close to slowing him down, let alone stopping him.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 That's just weird. The Patriots haven't lost a home game in how long? And then when they finally lose one they're crushed in the game?

Guest TheDon Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Great game for Eli Manning Plaxico and my main man Tiki Barber. I loved his 15 yard touchdown run carrying the defense on his back while scoring.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Damn, big respect to the Chargers today. Like Simms said, you have to play a perfect game to beat the champs at home and they did. They dominated that third quarter and pretty much put it away. I'm hoping that this was just the Pats D adjusting to no Harrison and not a preview of things to come. KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Maybe the Eagles should just wheel Aikers out there after all. Looks like Jets/Ravens is the "First team that scores wins" crappy game I was expecting.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Nah. Brady's averaging something like 280 yards and Dillon has 5 TDs. It's the defense that isn't quite up to snuff yet and the injuries don't help (on both sides of the ball). Today was due to the D not stopping SD and causing turnovers coupled with the O-line not giving Brady time or Dillon holes to run through. He did have a few big runs, but the Pats had to throw more because they were in a lot of 3rd and long situations.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 Of course it has. Playcalling isn't as creative.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2005 I actually used the Bills last night on Madden and good god does JP Losman SUCK. Ditto Holcomb. I mean honestly, Losman is the main QB on the game that flat out throws the ball 30 yards away from the receiver. Why do I get this sickening feeling that no matter how shitty the Patriots get this year they'll still find a way to get a lucky fluke win over the Colts in a few weeks? Edgerrin James will fumble 3 times near the endzone or some dumb shit.
