razazteca Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I just turned it on. What was top 6-10? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The dysfunctional family, the McMahons This is your life DX STONE COLD STONE COLD STONE COLD STONE COLD and some bad acting skits
iliketurtles Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 That moonsault and headbutt still gets fucking crazy air.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 They just kinda put over Jeff Hardy...
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 wow.. "This isn't the wrestling I grew up with and we don't want it to be" They finally admit it.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 wow.. "This isn't the wrestling I grew up with and we don't want it to be" They finally admit it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well technically, neither is TNA. Oh, and for those that have missed most of this, it's showing again after Raw is over tomorrow. So technically, if you watch all of Raw, this special again, and TNA's replay...that's 5 hours of wrestling. ...and yes, I'm going to do that. O_^
Downhome Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Whose quote is that? I had a phone call and have missed some of this, but I am recording it.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 ...*tears up, as Owen is mentioned*
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Thank You. They needed to acknowledge Owen here... BRET!
Downhome Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Oh wow, they have Bret actually talking about him on this special!
BUTT Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I'm sure the footage of Bret talking is from the upcoming DVD.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Oh wow, they have Bret actually talking about him on this special! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pretty sure it's from the DVD but still...Bret's first appearence on WWE TV since 1997.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Anyone know when this footage of Bret was done? Oh, and Sting clips shown too. And for Downhome, the quote was JR.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I'm glad WWE isn't worried about "politics" and showed Jeff Jarrett in a positive light here
Downhome Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Giving JJ airtime, on WWE TV!? Wow. Yes I know that's old, but still.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I know this is touching... But I find it interesting how two TNA stars made this segment.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Anyone know when this footage of Bret was done? Oh, and Sting clips shown too. And for Downhome, the quote was JR. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The footage was shot over the weekend he agreed to the DVD...in August i believe.

He doesn't look as bad as I thought he would after the stroke.
Downhome Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 This may sound stupid, but has anyone put together anything, like an article, talking about how the WWE is different today than the last time it aired on USA, how the characters have changed, and all of that?
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I'm wondering if Bret was asked about them using his footage, because I know he was only wanting to work with WWE over his DVD and not in promoting Raw.

He doesn't look as bad as I thought he would after the stroke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Stroke was three years ago, He's doing plays now in Canada. So he has very little physical effects of the strokes, but obviously enough that he can never wrestle again. Can you go back and re-confirm for me, that he had a pink background? I thought it was pink but i was semi-marking and didn't catch it.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I still think the Milk Bath was better if only for Kanyon and Stasiak.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 "Million Dollar Princess has become a dairy queen" Oh man, I forgot about how much that line cracked me up..
ChrisMWaters Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Damn, my DVR stopped recording this! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Like I said, it'll be showing again tomorrow after Raw.
Guest *KNK* Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I just noticed Jericho's presence and forgot he isnt even under contract and yet they STILL use him for these things. Even if it was shot before hand...
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 Damn, my DVR stopped recording this! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They got a 2 minute over run on a special...
slimm44 Posted October 3, 2005 Report Posted October 3, 2005 I thought it was a great special. Definitely made me miss the Attitude era and made me realize how much it has changed since then. Lots of great moments that made me feel good inside /how lame that sounded
