Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 3, 2005 This can be the Martha and Donald one perhaps. Martha Apprentice thoughts: Jeff was an interesting project manager because he was a very strong character and put people in their place but he did not make good decisions and deserved to be fired. Dawn seemed to get along better with her team in week 2 than week 1. Jim is entertaining but I hope he isn't the been there done that entertaining/weird guy character that gets eliminated rather quickly. Chuck seemed like a nice guy but he deserved to be fired because he seems like he can't handle the pressure. Martha's show seemed a little bit tier 2 compared to Trump's. Martha's daughter hasn't been interesting on the show and seems cleary weaker than Carolyn. notGeorge's has been somewhat with the cigar thing in the conference room and the grilling of the candidates in conference room 2 (so maybe he is stronger than the real George in grilling candidates). Donald Apprentice thoughts: Marcus is interesting. Who is better, Marcus or Jim? I liked Marcus's "I'll prove you wrong to Trump and Carolyn" statement he made and I think he will prove them wrong in lasting longer than they think. He seems like a smart guy. But he definitely should have been fired on task 2. His attempted contribution clearly would not have won the task. He was clearly a liability while trying to work with the team, and Trump, George, and Carolyn couldn't see this amazingly. I think they kept Marcus in there for the ratings. Randal seems to be a Kwame clone so far, hopefully he will have stronger leadership skills than Kwame. Kristi like Melissa seemed to complain nonstop about the PM, which may be interesting if you think about it.
Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 6, 2005 Martha episode 3 thoughts: The episode got me emotional during it because it wasn't generic in that during the task only 1-3 people doing really bad stuff on the task. Everyone on Matchstick and a couple of people on the other team seemed to have something pretty wrong on the task. David looks like an idiot, his mouth is open most of the time and he doesn't contribute much. He looks like he wants to be playing Warcraft or something instead of being on the Martha show. I thought Shawn said "bake it till you make it". Maybe she really did instead of what Martha thought she said. Jim was boring on this episode and the cake looked good but I realized after the episode it is stupid if the cake cannot be customized color wise at least because the cake isn't given to the people who buy it right then but near/at their wedding date. The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 Hate on Markus as much as you want (right down to the dopey spellng of his name), but it's hard to argue with results: When he was project manager, his team won. When he wasn't, they lost. Not only that, but when they were going down, he specifically pointed out some key problems, but was ignored, and those things ended up costing them the task. starvenger 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2005 Can't say that I'm watching either show but I hope you keep posting because it keeps me caught up on the show.
Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 8, 2005 In episode 2, the key problems Markus had with what the team was doing on trying to win the task weren't known on the episode other than the it doesn't matter question mark issue which wouldn't have won the task. Markus clearly was the weakest player on that task and deserved to be fired based on what was shown on TV. Chris didn't do a good job trying to convince Trump not to fire him and it is possible to change Trump's mind in who he is going to fire based on Chris in task 8 (the task John was fired) from last season. What I meant to say was either Chris didn't do a good job in trying to convince Trump or Trump wouldn't listen to him (which I think is more likely, especially at what we saw). For instance Chris tried to point out an example of how Marcus was a weak link and Trump said "it doesn't matter what you say right now because it is time to bring back 2 people" or something of that regard. Rebecca is stupid but Trump didn't rule her out yet and said she can be something like either a failure or a star. She is stupid because she didn't bring back Toral who did her job poorly, loyalty doesn't override that, and Rebecca should have been fired for her lack of judgment. What Jennifer W did was a slap in the face since she is experienced in event planning and has a passion for it, she really did a horrible job on the task. Rebecca and Jennifer W both deserved to be fired. Toral was a huge reason why they lost and I think she deserved to be fired too. First triple firing I wished. Clay wanted to get an answer from George but didn't think before he talked, which he obviously he should have done so he wouldn't have said that inappropriate comment to George. Randal might have stepped up because he didn't participate fully on the past task. He clearly got a lot of love at the end from his teammates when they all decided on giving him the exemption, that was predictable. I am feeling a Kwame vibe from him in smarts and getting the love (I'm saying this based on a apprentice.yahoo.com poll which shows Kwame getting the love over Jen M and Tana of which runner up do you most want back?) Both Markus and Jim were pretty normal this week and I think Markus beat out Jim this week in who was less offensive as I don't recall anything Markus did wrong on the episode. Coolclint 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2005 Both Markus and Jim were pretty normal this week and I think Markus beat out Jim this week in who was less offensive as I don't recall anything Markus did wrong on the episode. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's because Markus actually did great this episode. They let him do his thing with the TiVo and he ran with it and did a great job. The whole team just rolled, and the results would have been a lot different if not for the lecherous old men who voted 10 for the ladies.
Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 13, 2005 Martha episode 4: Bad episode to fire Dawn in for a ratings perspective. Someone else could have been fired and then next week could have been the climax for the negativity thing for Dawn and she gets fired. Much better. Seems like Jim will get fired next week. About time. This guy doesn't seem to get it in that he is bound to be fired with his attitude. Once again for a ratings perspective, the past two episodes were lackluster in the Jim stuff. I think next episode if he gets fired isn't the true climax of what could have been if he was built up better throughout the episodes and then fired when he was at his most extreme. He should be like he was in episode 2 except even somewhat worse, then it would be better I think. This episode was funny in that no name ppl stepped up to be PM. Dawn was stupid for not working in the night. I thought there should have been a triple firing again as Dawn was terrible, the PM was terrible for not having a good timeline, and Bethenny for not getting the sofa. Subpar reward, unless they got a nice meal. No very strong candidates so far on this show.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2005 They're morons. Their voices make me want to rip off my ears. They blatently put themselves together and away from the other 3 group members, and the only reason I can think of is because they all have blonde hair. They basically left the other 3 in the board room to do dick nothing, yet complained about Toral not "stepping up" to wear the fucking costume. As if who wore the costume was the reason for the loss. They knew Toral didn't like the idea yet they decided that she should be the one in the costume, rather than asking for volunteers like the guys did. Toral was a total bitch, contributed nothing and deserved to get fired, but not for this challenge. It was a dumb idea and character, and the PM took pride in not having the DQ brand anywhere on the character. If you are a leader, you take a look at your team and assess their strengths and weaknesses and do the best you can with them. That's not what the PM did. Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 20, 2005 Glad boring Jennifer got fired. Ryan did a bad job, despite winning as PM. He didn't step up to be PM right away (raised his hand last) and he said the only thing matters is that the team is having fun forgetting about winning. Jim was entertaining, I hope he wins. There is just nobody else on the cast who is interesting. I like watching dopey David with his mouth wide open though.
Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 21, 2005 Trump gives Jennifer M a 2nd chance to justify why he picked a pageant winner for the show obviously. He hopes she does well. Too bad she will likely be fired next week with Carolyn in charge. Markus is an idiot after not causing controversy the past two episodes he decides to stand around and do nothing to cause controversy. Brian is dumb and immature with his 12 year old kid remark and babbling on. The show was pretty bad for the first time this season and the editing was really bad. They need to show more Kristi stuff on the episode to justify all the stuff people are saying about her or else it doesn't feel as good. It seems James, Rebecca, Marshawn, and Randal will be the final 4. There might be a replacement for James but I can't think of one. And James had the Kendra moment in episode 1 where he picked the right person to be fired. They wouldn't show that pointing him out to be smart specifically without a reason. The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2005 Anybody else get the feeling that they're going to do something like have three people get fired next week? The promo for next week's show was talking about how it would be the biggest disaster on a task ever or something like that, leading to another 'boardroom first.' Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 21, 2005 Episode 6 potential spoilers: New teams: Excel: Brian, James, Jennifer M, Josh, Mark, Marshawn, and Rebecca Capital Edge: Adam, Alla, Clay, Felisha, Markus, and Randal On Excel, James, Josh, or Mark will be the PM for this task and on Capital Edge, Alla will be the PM. 4 out of 6 of these contestants on Excel will be fired: James, Jennifer M, Josh, Mark, Marshawn, and Rebecca. Episode 9 potential spoilers: Adam, Alla, Felisha, and Randal will be on this episode. Clay and/or Mark will be on this episode. Brian and/or Josh will be on this episode. Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 28, 2005 Donald thoughts: My spoilers turn out to be right. Very unfortunate what happened on the latest episode. It is so disappointing that four of the contestants don't even get it when it comes to selling. I wonder what Chris thought when Markus still didn't return to the place the contestants stay after they are fired from the show.
Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 28, 2005 Donald episode 7 - 8 potential spoilers: 2 ouf of 3 of these contestants will be fired on these 2 episodes: Markus, Marshawn, Rebecca Donald episode 9 potential spoilers: Adam, Alla, Brian, Clay, Felisha, and Randal will appear on this episode. The other contestant to appear on this episode will be Markus, Marshawn, or Rebecca.
Guest fanofcoils Report post Posted October 28, 2005 More potential spoilers for next episode: For next episode, it seems Markus will not be fired because Adam is the only candidate I believe who hasn't been PM. Adam is on Capital Edge and Excel has 3 team members and Capital Edge has 6 team members so Excel will likely be able to take 1 member from Capital Edge, Randal or someone else, not likely Adam or Markus. Since Adam is seen in the XM radio task, and he is likely PM and Markus is still likely on his team, Capital Edge, that means Markus likely won't be fired next episode. If so, that means Rebecca or Marshawn should be fired next episode. Marshawn was PM in task 2 and Rebecca in task 3. Therefore it is more likely Marshawn will be PM and more likely she will be fired. Plus Trump seems to favor Rebecca more than Marshawn right now, at least that is what I got from watching the extended footage on yahoo.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2005 Without having seen the spoilers before last night, I just have to say it was totally awesome that all 4 of those guys were fired. They screwed up the task big time and seemed unable to grasp the real purpose of the task, which was selling. It was a total surprise to me but I think it was a welcome one since it makes all contestants stay on their toes the whole time. And in a couple of weeks, CHEWBACCA?? slimm44 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 I don't know if anyone saw last night but Marcus was fired for not doing anything during the task and was accused of saving his own ass whenever the team failed and making it known he was against the concept. And he talked too much without getting to the point.
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 Ah, the wonders of creative editing. Without hearing the scores, you'd have thought the Stand Out presentation KILLED the Sex at Work presentation. Final scores? Stand Out: 7.07 Sex at Work: 6.98 And after last night's performance leading the winning team, Randall is firmly entrenching himself as the odds-on favorite. Forget demographics ("He'll win because they've never had a minority win on this show yet"). Randall is the real deal. He's going to have to have a meltdown to lose. (PS- I don't read spoilers, so if he gets canned in one of these upcoming episodes for which we have spoilers in here, then feel free to tee off on me)
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 I agree that Markus did absolutely nothing on this task, and he had the gall to say he did an "outstanding job"?? He was delusional. Of course, the gay guy dropped the ball big time on his presentation and I felt he was also deserving of being fired.

Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted November 6, 2005 I find that Martha shows lacks any females that I could see being sucsessfull. Hell, in Martha's, there seems to be 2 people compitant enough for the job. Just like last years Donald when the chick won. Not a lot of options. With Donlads, there still is LOTS of people who could come out. Yah Randall is the favorite, but its because he was good. Not lack of compatition, as he has some people goldbricking who will really come strong when they need too. Alla, Brian, Rebecca and maybe Marshawn all still could dethrown Randall. I think Clay and Adam are the weakest, then its a crap shoot. Its Ryan, Jim and alot of garbage on Martha's show.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 Two more contestants fired last night. At this rate, the show's gonna end way before the contracted 22 episodes. How the hell do you fuck up selling Star Wars merch? What true new yorker doesn't know you can't get ANYWHERE in fifteen minutes?? NO DARTH VADER ON DISPLAY FOR EPISODE III DVD? Those two deserved to be fired.
Guest Monty Burns Report post Posted November 11, 2005 The Apprentice usually has only 13 episodes anyway, and they started with 18 contestants. Donald probably just went nuts firing people as a ratings ploy. I think Randall and Alla are gonna be the final two.
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2005 Well, let's break it down for the final six, chances of winning 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest): ADAM Lame duck candidate after his loss as project manager on the "sex in the work place" workshop. Trump humiliated him, but for whatever reason kept him around. There's no way somebody gets bashed that badly and then gets hired. Verdict: 1 ALLA Showed promise with the Star Wars display, basically carrying the team, albeit in a losing effort. Hasn't really come close to getting fired yet, so it'll be interesting to see her defend herself in a board room should that situation arise. Verdict: 3.5 CLAY Considering Trump's affinity for mass firings lately, I don't know how Clay has survived so long. He's absolutely despised by his team, even when he leads them to victory. His "I'm in this strictly for me now" speech at the end on Thursday night pretty much sealed his fate as being the de facto heel the rest of the way. You need a character like this, which how Markus lasted so long. Still, barring some miraculous turnaround, Clay is a setup man and won't likely be alive in the final two. Verdict: 2 FELISHA Completely forgettable character. I didn't even know she was still around until I checked the Apprentice web site. Nine weeks in now and what has she brought to the table? Nothing. That'll get you through the early weeks while other contestants implode, but it won't win you the job. Verdict: 1.5 RANDAL Two times as a PM and two strong victories. Really, he should've been a PM on the Star Wars task too, because he was the only one who knew anything about the film. He's been the most sought-after character, and he really hasn't shown any character flaws. Randal would need a catastrophe to blow this. Verdict: 5 REBECCA Hasn't been very prominent since breaking her ankle, but on the few occasions where she's spoken up in the board room, she's had some pretty strong performances. I think she's under the radar right now, but unlike Felisha, she's doing just enough to not fall completely out of relevance. Good darkhorse pick if Randal has a train wreck. Verdict:
