Former WWE Stars and Homicide, New Age Outlaws

Recommended Posts

Charlie Haas, Shannon Moore, Jackie Gayda, Matt Morgan, Billy Kidman, Mark Jindrak and others' WWE no-compete clauses expire on October 5. Frankie Kazarian's WWE no-compete expires in November and Daniel Puder's in mid-Decmeber. As of now none from the earlier list are booked for TV on 10/10, but Moore and Gayda are almost definitely being brought in with Haas and Morgan (and perhaps Kidman) also possible.

TNA turned down the idea of bringing Sean O'Haire, Luther Reigns, Predator and other big-men in as a monster faction.

Shocker and Apollo will be packaged in a tag-team, but they may not keep Shocker around. The idea of Konnan managing the two has been scrapped for now, and when and if 3LK breaks up, one idea is for Konnan, Killings and Homicide to be teamed together. A New Age Outlaws reunion planned for TNA won't be happening too soon, as they want to do a slow build for the "new" TV audience.

I have a feeling Haas will enter the X Division and be the "Technical" worker ala Melenko for that division.

Homicide+Killings+Konnan is a great faction and I'm glad they aren't packaging Apollo and Shocker with them.

So, the, what, 6 month old build-up for a NAO reunion isn't quite slow enough?

Although I want this angle over as much as the next guy, TNA has clearly established that right now they are booking with the new audience in mind. Which makes sense IMO: I mean, there's somewhere between 400,000 and 700,000 people who never saw the 6 months of build. Half of it it took place during the FSN era, when Impact was averaging about a .2 and the other half took place during the internet era, when Impact was viewed by about 100,000 people a week (I'm pretty sure TNA claimed that number anyway). So it makes sense to build slow even though they were already building slow. I think they were aware of that and that's why they gave it about a month long break. just my two cents though...

You have to remember they are reaching a new audience now, who aren't aware that there was already six months of build-up towards it. While a video package showing the slow build would suffice and quite frankly they need to blow this thing off at Genesis (at the latest). I'm still shady on if they would be faces/heel because they work well enough either way.

I'd personally have Homicide debut at Genesis, by attacking James during a 3LK match and quickly grabs the stick and calls out on Konnan and Killings for leaving their roots and letting this bitch bring them down. Konnan and Killings respond via joining in the attack and Kip comes out and don't bother with the "whose side is he on" set-up, just have him swinging a chair and going after 'Cide. The new and improved 3LK (I would change the name as well) get away... The NAO reunion occurs right then and there with a embrace, crowd pops.

It's easy and not neccesary to extend this program any further because we all know where it leads anyways.

The best thing about your idea, IMO, is that it gives Truth the heel turn he desperately needs. Although he's shown he can get over as a top-shelf face or heel, his current face run is beyond stale because he's been doing the exact same thing (read: absolutely nothing) for about 2 years. And because they give all the mic time to Konnan and James to pop the marks.

Whatever happened to the Apollo and Sonny Siaki tag team? The only way Shocker will ever look good on tv is if he is working with LA Park, Rey Bucanero, Ultimo Guerrero.

I'm feeling 3LK heel team of Konnan, Killings, and Homicide. That would rock the party that rocks the body and I would finally like 3LK. (cause I have never liked them)

Everything sounds good to me. Haas should definitely be brought in for the X Division. I never got to see much of Shocker's work, but I'll definitely take Haas over him any day. He could contribute so much more to the division. Speaking of which, why isn't TNA looking into getting Jimmy Yang? On Apolo, I liked his team with Siaki just fine the way it was, so maybe TNA should just stick with that.

I think Haas should be brought in, but not for the X division. He's too tall. It'll look bad. Haas should be used to bolster the lame heavyweight division.

It's about NO LIMITS. He's too tall? He is 6'3-6'5, If Samoa Joe can be star at his size, so can Haas.

Haas would fit into the X Division more then he would the heavyweight division.

X needs a technical expert for it's division and it's a gimmick Haas can easily play up.

Haas/Daniels sounds better then Haas/Jarrett.

Haas is bland, and I really don't care if TNA signs him or not. But if they do, X-Division is where he belongs, or mid-card heavy.

I'm starting a "Haas for NWA Champion" campaign.

Just watch Charlie Haas going on to become TNA's Stone Cold (ala the guy the 'e' let get away, only to become their competition's biggest star)

I've always been a Haas mark, but if/when he comes to TNA, I'll be even more of one.

In WCW, Austin showed flashes of brilliance and charisma. I haven't seen that from Haas.

3LK definitely needs to break up soon. Killings would be a huge asset to the main event scene and Kip and BG James could team again. As for Konnan, he's pretty much done as a wrestler. He'd make a good manager, though.

I agree that Killings needs to be main eventing and soon. If TNA wanted a 3-man announce team, they should put Konnan in there with Tenay and West. West has grown on me, and he's homegrown, so I don't think he should have to leave, but adding Konnan in there would spice it up a bit. I just don't buy him as a manager who won't suck the heat off the wrestler he's working with.
