SAW II

Something I didn't understand was

why did the people have to be dead in order to read the numbers on the back of their necks? Couldn't they just have said "hey dude, let me look at your number, oh and yours too" and work to get the antidotes? The guy cutting off the back of his neck was uneccesary when one of them could have easily read his number.

There didn't need to be an order, accept for the fact that he had to enter the numbers into the safe in the order of the colors of the rainbow. As for why he didn't ask someone to read him his number, that was because he didn't trust anyone else.

They didn't realize the number was on their necks until late in the movie. By then, two of them were dead and the big guy just went crazy. And when he realized he needed someone to read his number, the only people left were him, the guys son, and the girl who was in on it. Plus, there was only one antidote in the safe for one person.

They really should've hammered that point home more. Plus, the actor was too over-the-top for those scenes.

Just saw this movie yesterday and overall I thought it was ok and I predicted where everything was going. I haven't seen the first yet though but I did get a brief summary by a friend before I went in. However, I did laugh my ass off through the whole thing. Especially during the beating of you know who.
