2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 ESPN.com has a ridiculous poll asking if Charlie Weis is the best coach in ALL of college football. 23% of those polled said yes. Apparently 23% of ESPN readers are idiots. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 23% think Notre Dame should be #1 I think Charlie is good and all, but the best in college football? No way. iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 This is Fresno's weakest schedule in recent years. A couple seasons ago they had to go to Tennessee and Oklahoma. Coach Pat Hill has said they will play anyone, anywhere and they do. No one ever comes to FSU so scheduling quality non-conference opponents is tough. They still have to travel to USC this season. They are a good team and should be ranked high. Their non conference schedule is WAY harder than Texas and Alabama for example. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, of course it's hard if you count the USC game, but up to this point, they've only played two teams that had pulses, along with a I-AA team, and the four very worst teams in the WAC. I'm just saying that up to this point, they've done nothing that they deserve to rank in the Top 25 for. Looking at the Sagarin rankings, Fresno State's schedule currently ranks 110th in Division I.
