Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 Okay, I have had my XBox for about a year now, and its been working fine. I haven;t modded it, and haven't played it anywhere near as much as my PS2. I took it over to my ex's house a couple times to play games, and brought it home. It was unplugged for I dunno, about a month... I plugged it in and the light around the eject button is flashing yellow and green. I don't think that I have done anything to damage it, but it will not load any games or even go to the main screen. Can anyone help?

Just unplug and plug back in the cable and see if that helps.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Yeah, after doing a little searching around on the net, that's what it was. Thanks anyway, though.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 The real question is why haven't you modded it?
redbaron29 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 I got a modded Xbox. It will pretty much boot anything I want now.... ....and to think I only had to kill 3 of them to get one working.

It will pretty much boot anything I want now.... ....and to think I only had to kill 3 of them to get one working. I rest my case. With my luck I would kill five before I got it to work right. Though I would love to throw a 200 or 300 GB drive in there, and transfer all of my music and ROMs....
Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Modding is actually very easy. If you take the time to read instructions on the net, it's difficult to screw it up. But, modding isn't really for everyone. I've only done a soft mod, and haven't bothered to add stuff to it. Even pirated games.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2005 I soft modded and only play burnt games. I just don't play enough video games to justify spending money on video games. They get the rental money from me and thats it. Soft modding is SIMPLE. If you kill a box doing that you need to file down all the corners on the furniture in your home and do away with all sharp objects. If NOTHING else, you can get free games...not that I condone that behavior... ... ... ...

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2005 Modding=No Live=kills most of the system's worth.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2005 I don't buy systems for the live aspect. I simply buy them to play the games I want to play (Example: I bought a GC because I wanted Rebel Strike, then I was recommended Tales of Symphonia, which along with Crazy Taxi are the only game I have for it).
