Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 Great, my win is going to rely on all those "who cares" games.
Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2005 The total score of Louisville-Pittsburgh was 62, BTW. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So how does the tiebreaker work then? Whoever is closer without going over, or who ever is just closer, period?

Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Goooooooooooo "who cares" games! Central Florida holding on (17-3 over Houston at the half) would give me the win without having to wait to see if my Miami pick was really as dumb as the media is making it sound. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Heh, I'm in the same boat as you, Kotz. I need Central Florida and Miami.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Huge win for me this week. My team gained a two game lead in the conference with three remaining. That should hopefully mean I have a good chance of making it to the conference championship. It's too bad I was so terrible out conference though. 1-5 out of conference, 4-0 in conference. Geez, I am like the North Texas of this game.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Easy win for me, looks like i'll get every differing pick correct as well as the tiebreak. Of course those sort of wins tend to kill your strength of schedule, but i'll take it.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 I need UCF to hold on and beat Houston, and V.T. to wake the f up. I kind of want V.T. to lose, so we don't have to hear them bitch and complain anymore.
AlwaysPissedOff 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Damn, I would have had a clean sweep in the differing picks if I had gone with my gut feeling on Toledo/Ohio...
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Man, if Miami hangs on, I'd have beaten nogoodnick twice this week, one in the NFL contest and then here.

Bored 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 APO won but did it by tying for the lowest point total of a winning team this week thus they tumble in the rankings due everyone in the Top 10, who wasn't playing another Top 10 team, winning this week. So we have a new #1, who's an old #1. It is an incredibly tight race for the Bored Bowl. I'd say everyone in the Top 10 still has a shot. 1. Georgia Tech - iggymcfly 2.15 2. Bored 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 You have to finish with at least seven wins to be bowl eligible, so most everyone still has a shot. teke184 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Bored- Are the conference title games still set up like last year? If so, I think I've just got to win one more conference game in order to be in a winnable tie-breaker (I've beaten Florida and South Carolina, but lost to Texas A&M)

iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 God, what's really surprising in this kind of contest is the regression to the mean. We've got one 8-2 team, four 7-3 teams, and everyone else is 6-4 or worse. Shit, in the Pac-8, every single team is either 5-5 or 4-6. Basically, there's a couple entrants who apparently try to go crazy on the upsets (Troy and Buffalo), a couple that actually know what they're doing, (me and....... someone else), and for everybody else, the whole thing's a crapshoot. Yes, I'm being cocky again, but fuck it. I'll just keep picking winners and then I can be as god damn cocky as I want. You want to beat me? Go ahead and try. (I just watched Goodfellas, and if that doesn't put you in a "go me, fuck the world" mood, then nothing will. Well, nothing except winning $1100 on sports bets today. Zing.) Me (#7 LSU), #5 Alabama (APO), #10 South Carolina (Cuban Lynx), #9 Florida (Agent Bond), and #4 Texas A&M (Secret Agent) are all high on pick % as well as wins for the most part, but we keep running into each other.
