Tony149 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 The show is up in Home Entertainment. Skimmed through it and it looks good. I think I credited everybody who wrote for the show. If I missed you let me you and I'll include you ASAP. Papacita and KC did an awesome job with the graphics and opening respectively. And Patty continued to bring the funny with his lastest COD skit (haven't read the one from Thursday, nor have I read the show yet).
Adam 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Before I give my first Beef Bak in a long, looooooong time, I just wanted to echo Tony's statements - you always seem to outdo yourself with the graphics papa. Awesome, awesome stuff. Good opening and closing Love Shack's too, KC. Now, to read the show.
Mystery Eskimo 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 Feed-o-rama Part 1: I'd have had the Boiz show some attitude and beat Leon about the head with their boards for making them glum. That would have been cool. But anyway, Love Shack was fine, and the video bit to start was pretty nifty. Nice to see Jess and Tony in their usual place. Really great opening tag, I enjoyed that a lot. Good fast paced action that really showcased both teams well. I've neglected the Docs and HIYAH straps of late, but Tony did a great job putting them back in the spotlight. Scrolly scrolly through the PR-Fly history, but match was fun and inoffensive. Heh. Dudesday Device. I hope the Boiz don't drift into becoming jobbers, but the Upstarts getting wins makes a lot of sense. Good little match. Woo, the sweet smell of Patty. Or something...that was cool. I like Ned. Blood in a womans match! Hardcore. I have to confess to not really following the womens stuff that's been happening but I liked this match. The Axel segment was interesting - I'm not sure where it's heading, if anywhere, but it's good to know he'll be back. Vit X - Otaku was really good. Liked the arm work, and I thought VitX was going to pull it out towards the end. Oo, November Reign is pretty.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 I guess it's becoming tradition for me to be left out of the writing credits. I wrote the Parka/Wright match.
Tony149 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 I guess it's becoming tradition for me to be left out of the writing credits. I wrote the Parka/Wright match. Sorry about that Parka. I've added you to the credits. Again, sorry.
Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 (edited) MARIACHI Mucho dinero! Mucho sexo! And remember, we're not homo. MORACCA & MARIACHI We're homies. MORACCA Smile. That’s about the funniest thing I’ve ever read. I think it’s the smile at the end that really turns me on. The love shack is also a funny lil segment. KC has da $k8b0@rd1n knowledge that the real dope bitches dig on. Speaking of that which makes me go lol, PRL singing to Spanish Fly was purdddy comical. Was it not, friends? 4'11 is real short. Have any of you ever met anyone 4'11? My high school principal was 4'11. There are dicks bigger then his arm. The graphic for the world title match was siiiiiick, dudes! Sick. I was surprised that Popick won the world title. But congratulations. Nice match. I like the way Tony was eliminated. Eddy Kalm attacking Bohemoth was too cute. WTF kinda anger management counselor are you, son? Who will anger manage the anger manager? I don't know why, but the ending surprised me. I expected Parka to get an easy victory. From the few matches and skits I’ve read, Alf seems to be doing a quality effort in making the Heartland title seem important. This is not easy to do in a fed that apparently has seven title belts. I already told Tony what I thought about his stuff. I had to skim a lot of things, but it all looked good. I can’t even tell what makes a good wrestling match in real life, so I’m the last person to ask if the “psychology” of your e-fed match made sense. A lumberjill match? Where did these women come from? Back in my day, when I ran the division, there weren’t enough women to have a division. Creative consultant? Awww, yeah. I’m cool! I also do indeed smell very sweet. More later. Maybe. I already added more after my original posting. Edited October 31, 2005 by Patty O'Green
Stephen Joseph 0 Report post Posted October 31, 2005 The show is up in Home Entertainment. Papacita and KC did an awesome job with the graphics and opening respectively. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seconded. Best Graphics Ever. Very professional. Kudos to you both
Tony149 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 The pre and post Love Shack were fun to read. The ending was a bit chaotic but other than that I thought the opening match came off okay. I had no stats to go on other than Los Diablos were a tag luchador tag team in pink masks. Cryptic Message: Post the damn specs Zack! At least Los Diablos are now officially faces. As usual, PR brings the content. The amount of work he can pump out is amazing. I have a hard time getting a match and promo done. My have the Sk8ter Boiz fallen. It makes sense though. They got hot at the right time and won the tag titles, now they've come back down to earth. Good tag match. To see what the women's division has come to compared to what it's normally been -- hardly much -- is a testement to the men and women behind the scenes. Damn. That sounds like something J.R. would write. And I'm not talking about J.R. Ewing. Great World Tag Team Title match. On a semi-related note, I was thisclose to using "Beverly Hills" as the solo theme for Ned. Came across it while scanning DirecTV's Music Choice package. More feedback to come later. But congrats to Popick for becoming World Champion.
Stephen Joseph 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2005 I'm REACH BEATCH! Hey, actually...While the World Title match was written mUy excellente by Eski, I gotta give props about the tag match. Nice job ZACK~!
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2005 Thanks to Zack for picking up the slack during my 'computer decides to die' period. I'll be reading the show tommorrow morning now I'm back on and I will be leaving that Beef. Oh yeah.
Adam 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2005 'Leaving the Beef' sounds like some sort of gay inuendo. That was my first experience of Los Diablos En Fuego, its about time we had a mexican tag team. Good opener, the Love Doctors just keep climbing up the ranks. For people like myself who need to catch up on their HeldDown's, the recap PR did helped. Aaaaaaand PR does his best Rock impression on the mic. Not as long as I thought it would be, but it served its purpose of putting PR over as a threat. Bohemoth and O'Hara interest me. We haven't had that good monster/smaller guy dynamic in our teams. I'm interested to see where they go from here, and I'm also wondering if the Sk8er Bois will just switch gears and go back down the card, or whether their tag title match will propell them back up. Great to see Patty back bringing the funny. You keep writing, I'll keep laughing. The Women's Division is much like the Tag Division in that it was once just sorta there and thats all, but then a couple of guys decided to run with it, and create one hell of an entertaining division. Well done. Vitamin X is 0-3 on Pay Per View? Thats not cool. But good win to Okatu II here. Swank November Reign poster. I was surprised by Parka's loss, I really thought he was going to have a long run with the HI-YAH Belt. No matter though, because I like the Christian Wright character, and I'm interested in where he goes from here. TEH HEVENLEE ROCKERS~! Great 4-Way, even better screw-job. Once again, I was relaly surprised that the Heartland title changed hands here. I'll be interested to see if Alf has any aces up his sleeve for CSI. I knew the Usual Suspects and GPX would have a good match, just knew it. Great match with the faces coming back to win the last two falls. I'd like even more to see them go at it again. As I said, awesome, awesome graphics Papa. The one big interest that I had going into reading this match, apart from who was actually going to win of course, was would Black T lock up? I knew it probably had to happen, but I wasn't sure. It was built up well, and didn't dissapoint. I liked Dan stopping Hebner from counting ten. It was good to see the match go on for a while before Dan got eliminated as well. Overall, good show guys, things are looking up.
Tony149 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 More feedback to come later. I gave my word and nearly a month later, here's the rest of the feedback. After re-reading (which was weeks ago, btw) the Boiz/Bo/O'Hara tag match, KC introduced a new gesture for the Boiz -- the "RAWK~" hand signal. I'm a casual MMA viewer, but I did enjoy enjoy Axel's KOUF match. The Parka-CW match was a breeze to read through. Entertaining. Awesome main event. Felt epic. Enjoyed the opening squence with PK and Dan, with Dan maintaning the headlock after the belly-to-belly. The eliminations were nicely handled as well. It's been awhile since I've since somebody lose, or eliminated in this case, to an armbar (it was this that inspired me to do the armbar spot in my NR match). Other notable moments include the Black T spot and the cameo by JIVIN' J.R.! It's been a long while since he's been around. Notice how Black T haven't been champions since he left. Match of the Night: Fatal 4 Way main event. Eski ruled!
