I'm giving them too much credit? Dude they're really good if you haven't paid attention. They are on the same level as USC.

You said it yourself to me before the season that you wanted USC to be in a class of their own and because of that you're convinced that USC is of god-like status and the rest of these teams can't hold a candlestick.

Dude Texas can play with them and possibly win. Texas is tons better than Notre Dame on defense and offense.

Why is it such a given that Bama will lose to LSU at home? Hell, UT beat them in Baton Rouge and we all know how good they turned out to be. If there is any game I'm worried about as a Bama fan it is at Auburn in the big rivalry game.

 

This sounds like another Bama team that won ugly games through defense and running the ball. An Alabama team that went on to smash Miami in the Sugar Bowl and shock the motherfucking world after nobody gave them a chance. I think it's pretty scary how similar both teams are, as well as the fact there is another team that would be a huge favorite in the title game, USC.

 

History has a pattern of repeating itself. Jusy sayin', is all.

I'm hoping OU loses to Tech. That would probably make us the #3 Big XII team and put us in the Holiday Bowl against either UCLA or Oregon who we could beat.

Yeah because OU REALLY showed they had a fucking chance in Pasadena the first time.

 

I'm not surprised that the Bruins' luck, especially on defense, was going to run out the way it did today. More of the same to be expected possibly next week, but definitely not against USC. They've still got one more killer comeback left in the tank, and what better way to do it than in the annual fight for Los Angeles?

 

They've REALLY got to get a new defensive coordinator, though. There's some talent on the Bruin defense between Havner, Page, and a couple of the defensive linemen, it just doesn't seem like they're playing up to potential 100% of the time. That falls on the defensive coaching staff. But eh, I didn't expect them to be national championship material or anything this year, just pleasantly surprised to see them doing well than they have been in recent years.

No. If USC played a SEC team, they'd get a real fight by the very nature of the SEC's style. I watched the Texas game today. Texas was pretty good but I am not sure how much of that was Texas as much as it was Baylor sucking.

And Vitamin X don't take it as a dig. I'm just saying that OU is better than when they played UCLA and they finally have a healthy AD and UCLA appears to have peaked. That and OU has like the #1 rush defense in the country.

It'd be a good game I think. But I think that OU would be stomped by whoever the SEC puts up in the Cotton Bowl although with OU's defense and defense's in the SEC it might actually be a 10-7 game.

Look I'm not going to start a Pac 10/Big XII debate. The conferences are on par with each other. They each have a team at the top that rapes the rest of the conference and everyone else is on par. The conferenes are evenly matched with one another.

You've maybe watched Oregon play one fucking time. You haven't watched them all season. I've seen all of OU's games, and quite a few of Texas Tech's games and I can safely say that Oregon would beat Oklahoma by about 20 and beat Texas Tech by 2 TD's.

Oregon would beat OU easily but OU-Texas Tech would be a competitive game. And it's possible we will see that very game in the Holiday Bowl or something. Although I'm still hoping the Ducks can sneak into a BCS game.
