Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Jesus Christ, the injuries are racking up for both teams.
BX 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 With the way the Giants have played the last two weeks, why are we still kidding ourselves, saying they will win the NFC East? Clearly, it's the Cowboys.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 6, 2005 BLOCKED! Man, is it just me or have we seen more special teams miscues this year than ever? I don't remember seeing so many blocked FG's and punts. Also, is there a website that can track down what the most injured team of all-time ever has been? I want to see where this year's Packers rank.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Just awful play throughout so far.
mike546 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 With the way the Giants have played the last two weeks, why are we still kidding ourselves, saying they will win the NFC East? Clearly, it's the Cowboys. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because clearly the Cowboys never have games where they play to the level of their opponent, like the Cowboys did in a game against the Raiders, which they lost. Last two weeks? What games were you watching last week when they won 36-0, to a team the Cowboys lost too. edit: Giants had a shitload of injuries last year. They were basically playing their entire second team the last 5 games of the year.

Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 The Giants must be worried that if they go up by 27 on the Niners, they'll still blow the lead
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Good god, I bet this score'll never change. Packers will keep getting OH SO CLOSE, and barely fucking it up.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 What Ben Roethlisberger was starting to realize was that Hines Ward is ALWAYS open. Charlie Batch doesn't recognize that yet, for some reason.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 6, 2005 OMG FAVRE THROWS INTERCEPTIONS HE HAS NO SKILLZ LEFT LOLOLOL Edit: For the mike546's of the board, that was sarcasm. Driver tipped a ball and it fell into a Steeler's hands for their third turnover.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Farve needs to retire. Not because he's old, but because the young Packers absolutely suck.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 He fired that ball. Sort of a Vick-like INT where he throws it so hard, the guy has no chance to catch it.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 The thing about the NFC East is, you have the Eagles who have dominated the division, riddled with injuries, and the TO situation, coupled by Andy Reid refusing to run the ball much. Then you have three teams in the Redskins/Giants/Cowboys that overall are pretty well evenly matched, and are three teams that are going from 6-10 years, to transition years where they are once again LEARNING HOW TO WIN GAMES, which means there will be ups and downs all through this season. Experts seem to think the NFC East is the toughest division this season, but I am willing to bet that it is NOTHING compared to the hell it will be for each team in 2006, once the Cowboys/Giants/Redskins have all gone through their transition from being losers to contenders, and the Eagles will have cleared up their mess. The NFC East in 2006 is going to be absurdly difficult.
Guest Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Except for Vick's are usually off target to begin with.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 6, 2005 So this is where coaching comes to play. Now you guys'll see why I loathe The Sherm. There's about 7-8 minutes left, and I guarandamntee you he'll be playing more for getting a FG within the next 5 minutes, and hoping the Packers can get the ball inside two minutes so they can run the no huddle and go for a touchdown. Favre needs to lead this team down the field, as well as Gado has played, it's tough for any running back, especially an undrafted one out of college playing in his first game, to run well against the Steelers, and it'd be pointless. Steeler defense may be too physical for the Green Bay receivers though, who may all be afraid they could be next on IR.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 6, 2005 SEE WHAT I MEAN? WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH RUNNING THE BALL THERE?!?!? EDIT: Well, at least we're losing games more decisively now. This will be their worst loss of the year, at 10 points.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Yeah it is. Trust me. No way in hell Green Bay will score more than once with 3 1/2 minutes left, except for maybe a lucky turnover. Oh god. Later this year, we've got a Monday Night Football matchup between the Packers and Ravens in Baltimore. It'll be on 12/19. Yuck.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 See? Haha. Terrible punt and worse kick coverage.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 7, 2005 So, at 1-7 what could they possibly hope for going into the NFL draft with a possible top-5 pick? I'm not sure where the weaknesses are, but they're around. I think they need a true, bulky MLB and move Barnett to the outside, a pickup here and there on the offensive and defensive lines, and.. what? I say they need a new offensive coordinator. Also, I heard on ESPN that Tom Brady, coming up on 60 minutes, says something along the lines of, "I have three Super Bowl rings, yet I feel like I'm missing something from my life." Hatriots, discuss amongst yourselves.

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2005 The NFC as a whole is a total clusterfuck this year. You have the Giants, Falcons, Panthers, and Seahawks all at 6-2. After that maybe the Cowboys and Bucs at 5-3, though I can't help but think the Bucs are fading fast with Chris Simms. To be honest of those top 4 I have no idea who is the best of that group. I'm hoping for the Giants vs. Falcons as the NFC title game, but somehow I have a feeling due to experience that the Panthers might go far.
