KingPK 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 More skewed towards promos and building up November Reign, but Alf put in a good tag match. As usual, I'll edit in the rest when I get it. EDIT: O-tay, everything is accounted for.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 Quick comment- Patty got Christian Wright's character down pretty much perfectly. Kudos, says I.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 The Krista promo makes me want to see K.I.D. in a high-profile match. It was a great segment, but it begs for resolution. Someone has to take offense -- an arrogant World Champion, perhaps? The Christian Wright and SHI stuff was very entertaining. Also, I'm not the biggest Love Shack guy in the world, but this week's had me rolling.

Tony149 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 (edited) Chaotic way to start the show. First with everybody coming out of the woodwork for a chance at the title, then the S.H.I. segment. OMG~! Typo. It said Josh instead of Tony. But another wild COD promo, this time courtesy of K.I.D. Had me laughing throughout. Great stuff Patty. Haven't checked out PR's stuff because at the time I wrote the feedback last night it hadn't been edited in yet. Will check on it later. Great nearfall in the World tag title match. Alf continues to deliver with Team Heyross. The S.H.I. payoff provided a laugh, and the tease at the end was cool. Really liked PK's promo, he came off as a jerk. Oh man, that GPX segment was great. The stuff about Krista's Christmas hating was hilarious. The Dream Machine explosion was good while it lasted. Wouldn't mind seeing them go at it again. PK's change of behavior has been handled nicely. KC did a good job with the Black T-CW/Bo segment. Quite possibily the shortest ME in HD history, but for somebody who's just getting back into the thick of things it was a fine effort. Solid edition of TLS. Some hilarious lines in there. Line of the Night: "That bitch no sells the birth of Christ." -- Scotty Static Honorable mention to "...little mini, teeny bopper Martin Luther Kings." -- Leon Rodez Match of the Night: Team Heyross vs. The Usual Suspects Edited November 11, 2005 by Tony149
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2005 Hey I'm gonna leave some feedback too! Nice opening with the separate limos, it's good to see a little dissention in the Upstarts ranks. Poor Josh Matthews, kidnapped by a bunch of guys and taken to Indiana of all places. Great promo by PRL, when he restrains himself from falling into the trap of using borrowed catchphrases he can cut a pretty mean promo and I liked this. More promoage~! K.I.D. cuts an absolutely scathing promo on just about everyone in the OAOAST while Tony gets fresh. I loved the promo, but I'm not sure where it's leading. We'll see I guess. And Los Diablos de Fuego showing up out of nowhere had me cracking up especially when everyone just broke into dance. Total randomnosity! Spanish Fly, Otaku II, and John Brickston are WALKING~!! and S.H.I. is PLOTTING~!! Mwhahahahaha...okay I'll stop that. More backstage'ery~! NNMX and SCM have words to say and I loved this promo. Very old school, but with new school attitude. Also Cornette is written to a T with his obscure references and big words. A match!!! Wow! Good job of setting up the inevitable split between PRL and SJ. It was a good match too, but I wish it were longer. However, I realize why it wasn't and it did a great job of setting up what needed to be set up. Wow the Torneo Cibernetica sounds...confusing. I'm sure I'll understand it better when I see the match itself. And who's "shaming the art of wrestling"??? Since I was a huge Team Angle fan I love Team Heyross. They incorporate all the quirks of Team Angle and add a few more. It was a bit odd having the footage of S.H.I. arriving at the RCA Dome in the middle of the match, but it made sense with the run-in. I would love to see a rematch between these teams one on one again. And who is the mystery man!? I was hoping we would find out. I'm sure it's probably obvious, but I didn't recognize the music. EDIT: Ah I know who it is now...I had to go back and look. I won't say incase it's supposed to be a surprise. So PK doesn't think I'm in his league huh? We'll see about that. So that's what goes on in the Upstarts lockerroom? GPX have me rolling as always. Do I sense a GPX/COD match coming? Christian Wright was using words that even I've never heard of. WWOOOOOSSSSHHH PAN~! Poor Calvin gets a chair to the head out of nowhere. Now if this segment set up the Four Way then why was it mentioned earlier in the Lightning Crew match? I guess that was a miscommunication. Well I almost got the X Title...where'd PK have to go so badly in the middle of our match though!? Backstage Black T can't understand what Wright's saying so they decide to beat on him till he makes sense....err...I mean a brawl erupts between Black T and CW/Bohemoth. Okerlund is getting ballsy by backtalking CW...let's just hope it doesn't lead to Mean Gene's return to the ring. Great segment. Great, but short, main event. SJ squeaks out a win and I almost thought PRL was going to get a bit of revenge, but not this time I guess. EDIT: Oh I almost forgot. Awesome Love Shack as always. I really think the Usual Suspects should go with "Pimp and Circumstance". I would love to see Stephen Joseph vs. Leon Rodez next week.
