SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 Pretty good so far, but I don't get why they keeping jumping to random clips of musical acts.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 The music clips are not random it is theme music for the changes being made to the show.
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 The connections aren't always clear though. For example, that Bangles song just came outta nowhere. Glad to see the 1986-1990 cast getting their due.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 Seeing Phil Hartman, esp. on the day Eddie Guererro passed away, is really depressing.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 Why is it that Julia Louis Dreyfuss just keeps getting hotter as she gets older?
MDH257 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 I think using musical performances from the show to illustrate points was better in the last doc. At least then when they were only dealing with 5 years the music seemed to have some timely connection. Here it was a little weird to see them talking about '82 or '83 and then seeing performances that were clearly from '88 or '89. I thought the show was really good though. Hope it's longer on DVD. razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 The whole deal with Kevin Nealon with the map was confusing to me.
MDH257 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2005 I think showing the monologue about maps was supposed to illustrate "SNL's continuing journey"
