I would also like a tankjob from the Eagles. At least just next Sunday, please.

So this season hasn't been a tankjob already?

Can we *NOT* turn this into "Dama vs. the World" part 753?

Let's just settle down and stare at the boobies.

Lacey isn't very attractive.

But doesn't having a pair of losses to Dallas make their chances even worse?

For winning the division, yes. That will go to either Dallas or New York, anyways, but Philly has games left against two divisional opponents, two possible wildcard competitors (Green Bay still has a chance, believe it or not, as does St. Louis), and then there's Seattle and Arizona. It's not really time to give up just yet, but then again I guess some people give up on their team (or want them to give up) way too easily.

Ew, wait a minute I just saw Philly's conference record is 1-5, worst in the NFC besides New Orleans at 1-6. Okay, that's not encouraging.

Yeah but that won't help you much in the playoff race.

The Patriots are in perfect position for the playoffs right now at the four seed. It gives them the Jags in round one and if they can get past Jacksonville, then either Pittsburgh or Denver in round two. Call me crazy, but with the NE secondary I think if your choices are face Indy or go to Denver and face Jake Plummer...you pick face Plummer or Roths and see someone else can knock off Indy.

Right now the Bengals would be a six seed.

1. Indy

2. Denver

3. Pitts

4. NE

5. Jags

6. Cinn

NFC side as of right now:

1. Seahawks

2. CHICAGO

3. Dallas

4. Carolina

5. Giants

6. Tampa

How weird does the NFC side look? I mean really.

Yeah, at this point they have to win out to even have a shot at the playoffs as 9-7, with losing every tiebreaker is not going to cut it.

with a remaining schedule of:

Green Bay

Seattle

NY Giants

at St. Louis

at Arizona

Washington

Taking a glance at it, they should have at least a chance to win each of those games. There is still some faint hope, but the margin for error is zero.

Sad note: from this point forward they don't play at 1:00. So for other cities, you may be seeing a lot of the Eagles in the "main" games.

he doesn't look off his recievers because with that O-Line he doesn't have the time to. He's gotta get it off almost right as he gets it or his ass will be burried in the turf.

B-fucking-S. He does the same thing on the rare occasion he has a moment. He picks a guy, looks him dead in the eye, and lets it go. It's not a big knock on him; it's a maturity thing, a experience thing. But he's gotta break the habit.

The Falcons' defense is nowhere near what it was last year, ranking 20th against the run and 16th against the pass. They're first in the NFL in rushing, but we all know that's because they don't have a quarterback, just three running backs, one of which happens to throw every now and then.

They also play in a very, very rough division and got beat last week by an underrated Packer team.

I don't think it's any coincidence that the receivers all of a sudden start putting up numbers when they go to other teams. Peerless Price for example.

It's obviously the quarterback, but hey, Vick said it himself that the most important stat is wins, and that we shouldn't criticize him until he starts losing. Okay. He said that right before the Green Bay game, since then they've lost two in a row, the last game as a direct result of him fumbling away the ball inside the two minute warning to give TB the ball, the FG position, and the win.

Fuck you Michael, we'll criticize you all we damn well please.

Obviously it isn't a coincidence that the WR's put up better numbers, but the fact is that the current talent for Atlanta couldn't do anything, anywhere.

Sadly, when Vick throws and doesn't run, they lose.

And the Packer's underrated? Please. Green Bay was lucky Vick had a bad day. Green Bay has not been a good team for 2 years. And yet, Mr Rogers just sits there rotting.

Hopefully, if the Pack loses tonight, they realize their 2005 destiny, and let that kid get some on field experience.

I think you're mistaken... 4th seed isn't good. That means NE would play at Indy in the Divisional round, unless the 6th seed beats the 3rd seed.

Hmm, I knew NBC sports screwed up somewhere....Well, they aren't in bad shape since they hold the tiebreaker over Pittsburgh so three isn't out of the question. Wonder how I missed that. Thanks
