edotherocket 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 I know a lot of Smarks aren't keen on Marufuji but I'm looking forward to both matches on the card. Are they just working one show? I wouldn't mind more KENTA in The States.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 Why Marafuji and not Ricky Marvin? KENTA/Danielson and Ki/Marvin would be worth buying alone.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 I'm not sure which match I'd be looking forward to more...oh, yeah I am: KENTA/Ki. KENTA > Marufuji. I find Ki more entertaining than Danielson (that said, I haven't seen any of Danielson's work since he won the ROH title).
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2005 KENTA/Low Ki should be several levels of awesome. Danielson/Marufuji i'm less hyped for, but Danielson reigned Styles in for some strong matches in 02/03 so i'm sure a much-improved Danielson can do the same and probably better with Marufuji. Danielson cutting Marufuji off from going too far into over-the-top flippy spaz territory, keeping on offence most of the match while letting Naomichi up to comeback with his crowd-pleasing spots every now and then sounds good to me, Danielson is great in control and Marufuji's better getting beaten down anyway. And hopefully the Superkicks are kept to a minimum.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2005 I was incredibly impressed by Marufuji the first time I saw him. But after that? Meh. Just another Junior that does flippy. He's great at it, but his moveset is limited (as compared to others of his style, like half of TNA's X-Division from its first year). KENTA should do some tours of TNA...KENTA should own your soul.
