Just John 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2005 Austin was all over the place in 01. He kinda turned heel as he won the title at Wrestlemania 17, became a full heel later, had a very brief face run at the start of the invasion, turned heel again at the Invasion ppv, then turned face right after the Survivor Series winner take all match. caboose 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 I wouldn't class Orton as turning in that way. I'd say he turned from a polished turd into a piece of shit.

Dandy 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 Didnt Flair turn from heel to face after he won the title from Steamboat i WCW in '89'. Was it Music City showdown or WrestleWar? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, and it was WrestleWar. Flair was getting cheered by the end of the match because of how awesome he and Steamboat had wrestled each other in that feud. Funk was a judge awarding points at ringside and asked Ric for a title shot. Flair told him he'd have to get in line and Funk turned on him and gave him a piledriver on the judge's table. Flair was de facto face because of that.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 Sid Vicious turned heel during his second 2000 WCW World Title reign. I don't remember this. What happened? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The night after uncensored 2000 sid teamed with hogan and turned on him by chokeslamming him. this was all forgotten as WCW had a week off before russo and bischoff returned and stripped all the titles setting up the New vs Old feud. Papacita 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 IIRC he defended the belt in against DDP and Jarrett in the triple cage match. DDP was on his side and tried to get him to stay out of the way, but in the end Arquette ended up turning on him and helping Jarrett win the belt.
eiker_ir 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 Taker when he was champ in 2002 was a heel, but was becoming kinda face-ish by the time he had the ladder match with Jeff. he didn't do anything really, the crowd just started cheering him again.
Fartsauce 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 They planted the face turn by having Taker raise Jeff's hand after the match.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 IIRC he defended the belt in against DDP and Jarrett in the triple cage match. DDP was on his side and tried to get him to stay out of the way, but in the end Arquette ended up turning on him and helping Jarrett win the belt. It made sense too since DDP was the top heel in R2R
iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2005 I wouldn't class Orton as turning in that way. I'd say he turned from a polished turd into a piece of shit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's probably the most accurate thing I've heard on TSM in a while.
