Urban Warfare 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 The game just ended. I'm not a huge CFL fan, but that was a hell of a game.

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 A RIDICULOUS first play ont he final drive. Cavillo's pass gets blocked, but he re-caught it, bombed it 40 yards to a wide-open receiver(and I do mean WIDE OPEN). He drops it. To salt the wound, a 15 yard penalty, and that's that. Eskies win 38-35.
Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 28, 2005 How does OT work in the CFL. Can you win with a rouge.

KingPK 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 It's similar to college, with both teams starting on the 35. I watched the end of the game on NESN (anything's better than Jets/Saints) and it was pretty good. They show CFL games during the year, so maybe I'll watch more often next season. Guest Leelee Report post Posted November 30, 2005 They reshowed this game on the local FSN affiliate, for some reason. I have to say the last quarter of the game was fucking crazy. Also, why did Calvillo kick the ball down the field on the last play? When the Eskimos guys actually caught it, I had flashbacks of Leon Lett. I know the CFL has wacky rules like whoever touches the ball before it goes out of bounds, gets possession.

But I find that when nothing is on, CFL is enough to keep my attention for half-an-hour or so. It's like a less 'arcade' game of Arena football.
