The point is you seem to think there is a possibility he'd go undrafted which is hilarious b/c it's so far from the truth.

I doubt that will happen... but, I think it's just as funny that some places are projecting him as a Top 5 pick.

At this point, Young has no shot of being an NFL starting QB. He has to make big chances to his mechanics.

He's about as sound as Vick was and the entire league is blowing Vick.

The entire league doesn't blow Vick, ESPN blows Vick. Most smart people know that Vick's passes couldn't hit the broadside of a barn...

At this point, I'd like to see Vince Young or Jamaal Charles blow out their knee due to this example of running the score up.

They called a running play, and Charles broke 4 tackles. I don't see how that's running up the score.

Edit: Colorado fumbles, Texas recovers inside the Buffs 30.

Vince Young was still in. Why leave your best player in when the score is at this point?

At this point, I want 100 scored on Colorado so Mike Lupica can get his panties twisted in a bunch again. If anyone deserves to have the score run up on them, it's Gary Barnett.

I love watching the Army-Navy game, even though these aren't the most talented teams, the pageantry is so fun.

Vince Young is out now. He needed about 1000 yards of offense to even get close to unseating Reggie Bush after the ESPN hype machine got behind Bush.

His numbers won't cut it.

But Texas is about to be at 70 with somewhere around 8 minutes left in the 3rd. Jesus christ.

Texas is going to get to 77 or 84. It's not running up the score when your backups do it.

I know that. But leaving in Vince Young when the game's clearly over, that's different. I wouldn't try to advocate it if Leinart or Bush stayed in the game today in the event that UCLA got blown out.

What do you want Texas to do? Down the ball three times and punt every drive?

I hate these anti-running the score up people. If the starters aren't still out there risking injury, why should a team stop trying to score? It's a championship game against a divison rival. Colorado shouldn't get a favor because they suck that bad. Colorado should send the football fans across the world a letter of apology for being this shitty.

Texas has choice but to score here when Colorado hands the ball back to them every 90 seconds.

I wasn't directly responding to you, i was just adding to what you said.

Texas is taking out all their frustrations on Colorado but they won't have anything left when they play USC

It'll be like the NFL when a team blows out their opponent in the conference title game then turns around and gets blown out in the SB

It's like in hockey when you score a ton of goals in one game and then you can't find the net for a few games afterwards. Unless you play in Ottawa.

How does a underachieving 6-5 team, end up having both cordinators hired as head coaches?

Hell if I know! Ron Prince, offensive coordinator, being tabbed by K-State was a stunner. Al Golden I can see, because he's interviewed for a lot of jobs in the past year or two, including Notre Dame, and c'mon, Temple will gladly take anybody who'll take the job. Kansas State--and Bill Snyder, apparently--really loved Prince after the first interview. Admittedly, there's a lot to like. He's excellent at developing players and recruiting--UVA's o-line has been a strength, and he's the guy behind Elton Brown and D'Brickashaw Ferguson. The players love working with him. His playcalling is so-so, in my opinion. Doesn't always adapt quickly enough or seem to follow our strengths--too often this season he had 5'9" Marques Hagans playing like a 6'5" drop-back passer, and we stopped even bothering with designed runs halfway through the year. I actually think he'll be a better head coach than OC.

Our associate coach, Danny Rocco, also just took over the 1-AA Liberty job. An assistant or two may follow Golden to Temple. Next year is either going to be amazing if the new coordinators work out well (many people want to try to get Musgrave back from the Redskins since he's suffocating there), or terrible if they can't get the players comfortable. The program could use a bit of a shake-up, and I'll miss both Golden and Prince more in terms of recruiting than in terms of playcalling.

I'll say...
