natey2k4 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Now, I guess this could of been posted in the other thread, but I always have bad luck with getting my questions answered. My dad is buying me a bunch of small gifts (DVDs, Games, Clothes), plus one gift that is $250ish or more. Now I'm from Canada, so it's is more than $250. Anyway. I had a few questions about the set, and he wanted to know what I wanted so I have to tell him soon. Oh and don't worry about the blurring, while it bothers me, it won't make me not want something. What's the set like in General? How is Wrestlemania 17 thru 21 fit onto 1 disc? Are any matches cut out? Scratch that.. are ANY matches CLIPPED in general? I hate clipped matches. Is it worth buying? How's the video quality? How's the audio on the older Wrestlemania's? Thanks! - Nate
MARTYEWR 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 Natey, Set's fine in general. Your basic VHS-to-DVD conversion, with WWE editing in places you'd expect. The WWE-ized editing is quite different in some cases, with them throwing in new graphics in old WMs to make it look authentic and less blurry, as well as even throwing in Howard Finkel's voice, overdubbing it in cases where he may have said WWF. The discs are dual sided, which is how WM17 to 21 fit onto one disc. Same goes with 4 through 7. No matches are cut out, or clipped. Some interviews are, but that's about it. Some music is changed to. Track down the other thread for all the details as other posters have covered them well. Video quality and audio quality are fine, notwithstanding the changes I made note of above. As for whether it's worth buying, check out the details and decide for yourself. Also, you're in Canada, and I know you can do better than that price. Check out Future Shop and Best Buy. It's a little over $200 there, before taxes. Enigma 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2005 There's already a big thread on this that will probably answer your questions. Search for it in the archives, as I have a class in 30 minutes and cannot do it myself.

Guest Gary Busey Report post Posted December 1, 2005 Can someone with Mac OS X and any of these discs try playing them in the DVD application? They work on my DVD player hooked up to my TV but not the computer. The system says it's they are unsupported discs.
