The Niggardly King 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 The proper grammar in those emails is a dead give away that they're fake. The fragment-to-ridiculous thought ratio is too far off to think otherwise. "He is very good and because of him made WWE a power house at the present time." spman 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Logistically it doesn't even make much sense to get rid of Bischoff. I mean they have the guy on Contract, what else could they do with him? I mean they could use him in a backstage creative role, but on screen he doesn't seem as though he'd lend himself too well as a mouthpiece manager, or any other role besides even owner. Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 I already tried to point that out. I don't think Bischoff is getting fired unless he gets another role in the company.
hyperchord24 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 You guys don't think he'll get fired? Biscoff only has a job at the behest of Vince and co. so he can snub him on air in "kayfabe," and fire and rehire him till Vince is done stroking his ego.
Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 J.J. Dillon would be perfect...that being said they'll give it to Todd Pettengill
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 It'll probably be Coach, so Vince can make his weekly turn.
Guest Human Highlight Reel Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Bischoff won't be fired, Vince will never give up the opportunity to humilate him on a weekly basis.
Guest nosneb Report post Posted December 5, 2005 Well because of recent events in the WWE many people could be the new GM: my top two are: 1- JR, simply because I think he needs a break from commentating, he's been doing it, practically non stop for the last decade and a half. He's in good relations with the management and plain and simple i think he wants a break, which would make him a perfect GM. He wouldn't be as vocal as eric, he would be a Monsoon-esque GM. I say this simply becase Joey Styles just signed the 5 year deal and it would be silly to have a line up of JR JS and JL. 2. Eric - eh, why boot him out? its not his fault that theres no other competition out there for WWE to compete with so they rely on putting on shitty shows. ____________ 3. Coach - i've heard alot of buzz about him being the new GM and it wouldn't surpise me. It would coinside with the lame storylines that have been going on. 4. Paul H. - almost impossible since Stephanie despises him, however I think deep down Vince knows thi guy will produce results, he did at smackdown that's why they are as strong today. Then againj Steph hates him which means HHH hates him, but he's a tool anyway. 5. Mankind - some of the classic Raw episodes were when he was in charge 6. Me- also highly unlikely, but i know i'd produce results, first thing i'd do is vacate the title and get it off that toolbox Cena, then fire him and send him to OVW and hopefully give him some talent. Then hire AJ Styles just to spite TNA. Bring back the outlaws and dudleys. Start Raw off with a match instead of a 1/2 of bullshit, which i've been pissed about for years. worst case scenario, there will be an NWO revival at the behest of Eric. You do realize that the "GM" is a figurehead position and the bookers/writers don't actually change, right?

hyperchord24 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 (edited) omg really....holy shit you ruined my life of watching wrestling.. Dude, all the reasons you posted above are all kayfabe reasons, ie, one a mark would give. That's all I was saying. EDIT: The GM position is only there to play an authority figure to screw with people. The same people will have booking and creative control regardless of who the "GM" is. Guest jumpingbombangel Report post Posted December 6, 2005 Who do the fans want to see as RAW GM? December 1, 2005 Ever since Shane and Vince McMahon said it was time to take out the trash last Monday night on RAW, the Internet has been buzzing with thoughts on who could replace Eric Bischoff as General Manager. WWE.com has also received thousands of e-mails from fans offering their opinions (click here to send an e-mail). Here is a sampling of who the fans want to see as RAW General Manager: From: Drew H. Please place Dusty Rhodes in the GM position for RAW. Simply said, he is a legend, and he can put that old school edge back into wrestling. From: Dane I would love to see Debra. She's a former Lt. Commissioner, looks the part in her sexy business suits, and is definitely fan friendly. From: Craig Stone Cold should be general manager because he would be fair and would make RAW more cool and would stun people with his Stunner. From: Peter I think Hulk Hogan would make a good GM because he has such a vast knowledge of WWE, and a firmness of decision. No one will argue with his judgement, so he can make good matches without being threatened. Plus he's a fan favorite and everyone would enjoy seeing Hulk still running wild in WWE. From: Nathan I believe that Bret Hart would make an excellent GM. Seeing how he can not wrestle, why not be in charge of all of the wrestlers? Best there is, best there was, best there ever will be. From: Christopher M. I personally believe that Eric Bischoff is the man for RAW’s General Manager. He is very good and because of him made WWE a power house at the present time. When he was running WCW, he was defeating WWE for a long time, I forget how many times, but because of him, made WWE get back into the right track. If the WWE decide to go in another direction, well then it’s obvious that Paul Heyman can get the job done as well. I wish Paul Heyman was the GM on SmackDown, he is a good fit for that brand. From: Jeremy I would love to see a "Team" of GMs for RAW... Dusty & Goldust has the potential to be classic if Dustin could go over the top with Goldust once again! From: Jonathan M. To me, it should Rowdy Roddy Piper because he has experience of knowing what it is like to make such big matches and big decisions. If you remember he one time acting as president back in 1996 when Monsoon was injured at the time. When piper was acting president he was afraid of nobody. From: Kevin N. I'd love to see Stephanie McMahon become the new Raw General Manager. Stephanie was, in my honest opinion, the best GM that WWE has ever had. She was fair to the superstars, had a great ring persona, and didn't mind mixing it up in the ring once in a while. Her ideas were innovative and inspiring, and having a female lead a brand show was a good change in direction. It's good to see they got an overall nice and balanced opinion from Mrs. Jenkins' 4th grade class.
