Guest Coffey Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Trevor Murdoch was on last weeks Raw and got a win over Shelton Benjamin. Lance Cade was on this weeks WWE.com Heat against Tajiri and lost. With the weeks happenings and Murdoch/Cade seemingly losing the tag titles out of nowhere, I'm just curious is maybe Cade is in the doghouse over something? Has anyone read anything about it? Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 They refered to Murdoch as his former partner during his heat match. Did they break up out of nowhere or something?
tekcop 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 They said Murdoch/Cade broke up on RAW during Murdoch's match, too. Never gave us a reason or anything though.

Guest Coffey Report post Posted December 4, 2005 It's like, Cade was trained by HBK and seems to have a bright future. Murdoch is the shits, failed as a Dupp in every other promotion and gets a push. It makes sense. Apparently Murdoch's facial expressions make all the difference in the world.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Cade had great facial expressions too. They were a good team, dammit! Maybe not in the wrestling sense, but as characters they were good together.
Si82 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 I don't get it. Lance Cade seems like he has some talent. He just needs the right gimmick. Murdoch, however, is fucking terrible and the guy seems to be getting a singles push. That's WWE for you though. If you a fat hoss then you're bound to get a push (or twenty) at some point. Matt Young 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 I've missed the shows these past 2 weeks, mostly due to travel... What the fuck? I liked Cade and Murdoch. Why put all that effort into bringing in a new(ish) team, giving them the tag titles in their second match, and then job them out and break them up within a month? They're more entertaining than any other team on Raw that I can think of.
Foshi 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Cade's just returning the job to Tajiri from the Coach feud.

Scroby 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 I'm actually very surprised that WWE hasn't gave Cade the boot yet. I don't think Cade is that good. They've tried to give him differant gimmicks and they just haven't seemed to work for him. I didn't like the cowboy gimmick because lets be honest, has Cade ever wore a cowboy hat before that gimmick? Don't count a JR hat either. Murdoch on the other isn't that bad in the ring, he's a powerhouse and that's how he is being booked. I don't see anything wrong with Murdoch's single push other than the fact they shouldn't have broken up the tag team so quickly and without any reason. But I wouldn't look that far into it, give WWE a few weeks and Murdoch will be on heat as well.
buffybeast 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Does Lance Cade = Garrison Cade of yesteryear? I think Trevor Murdoch is a fat piece of shit. This coming from someone who loves hosses. I can't stand looking at him let alone watch him wrestle. He looks like he belongs in WWF circa 1985.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Hey! Adrian Adonis could work, damnit! And yes, Lance = Garrison.
SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 I'm beginning to question if 4 championships per show is really necessary. Inevitably, at least one on each show doesn't get used at any given time.

Dimensions 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 I still don't understand why they get this overweight superstar who is ok when they could've gotten another hefty superstar in Samoa Joe who is awesome.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 Joe turned them down.
Dimensions 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 But I thought the reason Joe turned them down was because they wanted him to lose weight. What I'm saying if they intended on having a hefty guy push then they coulda gone with Joe. But if he just outright said no, then woops on my part!!
Si82 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2005 Joe turned them down. Thank God for that! That said, I think that if WWE pushed him right, which they wouldn't, I think he could really get over.
Guest slmon Report post Posted December 5, 2005 Murdoch is being pushed so that Vince can say, "Look at my newest star. He's obviously not on steroids." As to Murdoch's look screaming "1985", so do Flair's and Kennedy's.
Guest JMA Report post Posted December 5, 2005 Cade had great facial expressions too. They were a good team, dammit! Maybe not in the wrestling sense, but as characters they were good together. Agreed. I'll miss the team. It seems stupid that WWE would debut a new team, have them win the tag titles right off the bat, lose them, and then break them up. EDIT: Also, the last thing RAW needs right now is another singles heel. RAW has what? 2 major babyfaces? Edited December 5, 2005 by hyperchord24

As to Murdoch's look screaming "1985", so do Flair's and Kennedy's. I don't remember seeing guys with tattoos all the way across their back with a 21st century haircut and a jacked 265 lb. frame in 1985. Maybe I missed an episode or two back then.
