2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 How about bringing in Butch Davis to take over the Colorado program. What do you have against Butch Davis??? No one should be sent there. Give em a year and they are knee deep into bullshit because their players decided to play strip the unwilling girl. Colorado's going to hire Jeff Bowden. Watch it happen. Good. Fuck him. His offensive coordinator knowledge lies somewhere between zero and shit for brains.
Guest Report post Posted December 8, 2005 He has a big name, and Colorado will jump thinking that's what they need.

Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Oregon and Tennessee are close to a deal to have a home and home starting in 2010. Awesome, Oregon's probably my favorite Pac-10 team ('cept those yellow uniforms, yikes). I think I look forward to Ohio State/Notre Dame more than the championship game. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Jesus christ. I just looked at this award tracker where they tell you who won the national awards and I have to say that I was very happy when I checked out OU's long national award list, paticuarly from 2003 and 2004. In 2003 they won nearly ever award out there....too bad they could finish. *bows head* It just proves that all the awards in the world don't mean shit when you step on the field. nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Awards certainly dont mean shit when 5-6 Oregon State walked off with two of them. Hass and Serna certainly deserved them but I wonder how often a losing team has won multiple awards.

Hass and Serna certainly deserved them but I wonder how often a losing team has won multiple awards. Well if the player has obvious talent and is that good it's not his fault that the team sucks. I mean a QB who is awesome but plays on a team with no blocking or playmaking recievers shouldn't be penalized should he?

I imagine it's much more difficult for a QB in that situation to get an award than single kicker or a receiver on a mediocre team. Less dependent on the materials around them, and a good QB with good surrounding players will do exponentially better than one without, making him much more deseerving of the award. therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 (edited) Of course they have to be in UM's shadow, what when Lloyd Carr whines for extra seconds on the clock which screws over PSU's undefeated season, who wouldn't debate Carr and the Big Ten officials being in bed with each other? The University of Michigan - When you can't win a game on your own, just get those paid officials to win it for you... Too bad LLLoyd carr became LLLLoyd Carr with 4 losses this year. Say what you want about Paterno being older than dirt, but at least he can beat Jim Tressel unlike Lloyd. Slayer 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2005 Who was off-camera interviewing Joe Pa? Herbstreit? Now, I'm a Michigan fan, but I have to be fair to Joe Pa. He has two national titles (really should have three, that's an argument for another time), which is one more than Carr and (unfortunately) two more than Bo ever won. Also, he hasn't fared much better against that bastard Tressel either (2-3). PSU is a conference rival, but I don't have the extreme dislike for them that I do OSU, and I will be rooting for them in the Orange Bowl because I hate Free Shoes U even more. I never really hated PSU all that much (compared to OSU, Michigan State, or Wisconsin) until this season, when every time you even whisper the word Wolverines after that game, some PSU fan leaps out of the bushes and starts ranting "blah blah blah Jason Avant's heel blah blah blah Lloyd Carr whines blah blah blah Michigan's referees blah blah blah if this if that we would be undefeated so the BCS is hypothetically screwing us blah blah blah". The only reason I try to rub that win in people's faces is because they won't let us forget about it.
