Guest karlitoapple Report post Posted December 8, 2005 TNAWrestlingNews.com has learned that Sonny Siaki and TNA have not agreed to terms on a new contract and he is gone from the company. A contract re-newal was offered. Sonny's bio has been removed from TNAWrestling.com. Siaki may be heading to the WWE although we do not have that confirmed. Guest God Junior Report post Posted December 8, 2005 I'm guessing they saw his as little but enhacement talent and offered to pay him accordingly, which he didn't like. No real loss.
RedJed 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Probably in the minority here but I thought he was much better workrate-wise than he ever has been during the last 5-6 months. Add some personality to the worker and you would have had someone who could have gotten over if given the chance. TNA certainly could have done a ton more with him to make him more than a glorified jobber. Kind of shitty that he's stuck with the company since its start and he obviously wasnt treated in kind for being that sort of person.
Guest [censored] Report post Posted December 8, 2005 good for Siaki if he is indeed headed to the WWE. He wasn't really going anywhere in TNA and the change and hopefully additional exposure will be good for him. I'm sorry to see him go as I was a fan but its probably the best him and TNA
Magus 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 (edited) I always liked Siaki, so I hope he heads to WWE. If political bullshit doesn't get in the way, Siaki will take to WWE like a fish to water. He's got a great look, he can talk, and he's capable in the ring. I kinda hope Vince pushes him just to stick it to TNA. Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Siaki would do fine in WWE as long as his gimmick isn't completely horrible. And TNA didn't really need him anyway, so it's not a big loss.
dubq 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Feh - no loss, imo. The guy was lacking in many areas.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Siaki would do fine in WWE as long as his gimmick isn't completely horrible. Poor, poor Sonny. He is showing up at the wrong damn time when it comes to gimmicks.

Guest karlitoapple Report post Posted December 8, 2005 Why is there a question mark in the topic? That is because the story broke some time last night, but it wasn't yet confirmed by the more reliable news reporters.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2005 Siaki was just wasted talent anyways. At this point he had been jobbed out for over a year, and it's probably just best to let him go. I think WWE should sign him, he could prove useful someday, he was pretty over in TNA, he's got a decent look, and he's good in the ring. That being said, without any time on the mic, he's a pretty bland guy.
