treble 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 Yeah, I didn't get SportsNet back then, so I was spared, even though I read all about him and his misadventures with the English language. I guess SportsNet's never really had any good analysts, then, now that I think about it.
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 I really hate Vital and Siragusa and I'm annoyed by Madden's seniltiy and by Theisman ins general but can tolerate. I also hate the Sabres annnouncing crew, too far over the top homerism, it's all right to get excited when they win, but they'll bitch for an entire period over any slightly questionable call against Buffalo. Hughson and Martinez, and later Shulman and Martinez, on TSN are the standards by which they're all judged. Nobody's come close.
Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 If I can mention an MMA announcer, I HATE the dude who announced with Bas Rutten on Pride Busido 1, don't know if he's still going, but long live Stephen Quadros
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 I'm definitely a card carrying member of the Tony Siragusa hate club. He's so damn loud and has never said anything the least bit interesting. I must be the only one that enjoys the SNF crew. I won't argue if they're good or bad because they're plenty bad but I find their banter entertaining. After sitting through the better part of 2 games earlier in the day, I can appreciate the more laid back approach of Patrick/McGuire/Theisman.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 I fully realized the shittiness of Paul Maguire the other week when he bitched out Lovie Smith for benching Kyle Orton, then praised him for putting Grossman in right after Rex got like more yards in one pass than Kyle got in like the last five quarters. Then he just went back to blowing Vick, I think

Just John 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2005 (edited) This Mike Gottfried guy calling the Independence Bowl now is pretty damn bad. At least for him, it's like a Dusty Rhodes kind of bad, where his shittiness makes him entertaining. Edited December 30, 2005 by Just John
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2006 I was just thinking today for some reason how amsome it would be to hear Dusty as a colorman for a football game.
BruiserKC 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2006 Dick Vitale...you would think this one-eyed, bald Italian would open up the brown eye for both Coach K and Roy Williams and anything ACC related...ditto with Billy Packer. Also...I'm a diehard Cardinals fan...but Mike Shannon on radio has got to go. Especially his annoying laugh at times especially when something important is happening. On the fave side...I like Ron Franklin and Gary Thorne. For color commentary...I've started to really enjoy Fran Fraschilla.

BruiserKC 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2006 For boxing...there's just something about Teddy Atlas that just rubs me the wrong way. Perhaps it's that thick-ass New York accent where I can barely make out half the words he says.
