Charlotte / Greenville Tapings (Jan 23 and 24)

I have a ticket for the Raw in Charlotte and Smackdown in Greenville, SC in three week's time, just before the Rumble. I wanted to see if there were any members on here that going that wanted to meet up before the show.

 

The dark match for Charlotte is advertised as Cena & Flair vs. HHH & Angle. No clue on what's planned for Greenville.

I'll be going if I can find someone who wants to go with me. Charlotte is about three hours away, and Greenville is less that one away.

 

Most of the people that I used to go to the shows with stopped watching WWE.

Damn , Downhome. I would never travel like for that a WWE event. I'm going to see New Years Revolution this Sunday, but the Pepsi Arena isn't even 10 minutes away. Parking takes longer.

Me and 2 friends are going to the Greenville show. Really looking forward to it. Should hopefully be good since its a pre-ppv show. The last time SD came to Greenville, it was the SD before Armageddon 2004, and it was the most fun I'd ever had at a live show.

Well, the only reason that I'd really go to Charlotte is because my sister lives up that way, and I might be able to get my nephew to go with me. I wouldn't normally drive three hours just to see a show either. As for Greenville, I go up that way quite a lot, one hour isn't anything to me since I love driving.

 

I might just end up going to the Greenville show by myself.

Downhome and Haws bah gawd - I've got both days off of work so if you guys want to meet up - that's cool. Just drop me a note. Charlotte is 40 miles one way, Greenville is about the same in the opposite direction.

 

What I'd like to do is get to the arena early enough to meet talent as they're coming in. Either that or find out what hotel they're using.

I go to UNCC and my last class on Monday ends at 4:30, so I might go out there and see what it'll take for me to get in the door. If this were 2 or 3 years ago, I would have bought tix the day they went on sale, but most of my friends don't follow wrestling anymore. We used to go to all the Greensboro and Charlotte shows.
