Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Good god did Eugene Wilson ever lay the hammer down on that hit. I wouldn't be surprised to see Del Rio challenge it though. The back looked like he was knocked out for a couple seconds too.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Nothing against the Jags D cause they are playing great, but the Patriots offense looks like a monkey fucking a football out there.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 That NFL Network commercial was great with the 4 months ago setting: "Without Randy Moss, it'll be smooth sailing for the Vikings" "That Drew Rosenhaus knows how to manage his players"

Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 watching Willie McGinnest come off the field there got a laugh out of me. Waving his arms arms around as if to say "Ok, I've had my fun and I'm done tonight. Somebody else come in now."
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) Nice, I hit my Redskins/under 37, Pats/under 37 parlay and pick up $100. Edited January 8, 2006 by therealworldschampion
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 The Jags never got into the game and Peterson had no business being out there with one arm. Patriots looked better offensively in the second half but lots they could work on. The defense looked good in the red zone but Leftwich was really picking them apart there for a bit. With a ground game, could have been a different story but NE shut the door on that. Leftwich looked decent, the receivers looked miserable and overall neither team played the best they can play. Good win for NE and now it's wait and see time.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 I'm actually hoping for wins by the Giants and Bengals tomorrow, because I don't think I could resist making a nice profit by betting against both of the Mannings.
Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 I'm hoping for a Steelers win. Should the Pats beat the Broncos then they either face a beat up Indy team (since the Steelers are one of the most physical teams in the league) or they face the Steelers at home. That's win/win to me.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 IMO, once it was 21-3 (before Samuel's INT return), Del Rio should have made the switch to Gerard because it was crystal clear that Byron's ankle wasn't allowing him to move around the pocket AT ALL. Doing it afterwards was too little, too late. Peterson starting was probably one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen. I mean, the guy's got a boxing glove on his hand and can't get a full grip on guys for tackles and he's playing linebacker? I'd also rather play Denver next week in order to get the AFC Championship at home.
Guest Smues Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Fucking Patriots. That is all.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Fucking Patriots. That is all. I'd rather play Denver, because we owe them one. We owe the Colts one too, but that's better saved for the AFC Championship. Plus, I'm kind of sick of the way Cincy got all cocky late in the year. Pittsburgh needs to slap the taste out their mouth. Guest Report post Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) Cincy can't be cocky. They just lost to Buffalo and got blown the hell out of the building against KC. Edited January 8, 2006 by Kingofthe909
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 Cincy can't be cocky. They just lost to Buffalo and got blown the hell out of the building against KC. That's exactly my point. They went from being a feel good story to a too big for their britches, no defense playing bunch of asshats. I respect the Steelers, I don't respect the Bengals. Failed Bridge 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 that doesn't excuse the horrid run defense they showed in that game. Larry Johnson bitch slapped them around the whole field.

mike546 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) Oh great, Nick Grisen is injured. What did the Giants LBers do to deserve all these injuries? Does god hate them? edit: How is that not pass interference!?!? Shockey was TACKLED before Eli even threw the ball! edit2: everyone says that for the Giants to win, Eli has to do this and that and make plays and not mess up. Well that doesn't matter if the Defense CAN'T FUCKING STOP THE OPPONENT ON 3RD AND LONG OR AT ALL. Edited January 8, 2006 by mike546
