kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2006 (edited) Wild Card Weekend matchups and spreads. PM picks and your guess as to the final score of each game to me (Example: Washington 21, Tampa 30). Scoring details will be covered in the next post of this thread. First will be the seedings and matchups for TSM, and then the seedings and matchups for the other place: NFL Matchups Washington at Tampa Bay (2.5) Jacksonville at New England (8.5) Carolina at N.Y. Giants (2.5) (2.5) Pittsburgh at Cincinnati TSM Seedings AFC 1) Denver (canadian chris) 2) New England (nl-asshole) 3) Cleveland (sfa jack) 4) Jacksonville (always pissed off) 5) Buffalo (bob barron) 6) San Diego (porter) NFC 1) Atlanta (king of the 909) 2) Philadelphia (the real world's champion) 3) Seattle (c dubya) 4) Detroit (bravesfan) 5) Arizona (cena's writer) 6) New York Giants (cartman -- kkk Bowl II winner) TSM Matchups for Wild Card Weekend: San Diego (Porter 9-7) @ Cleveland (SFA Jack 11-5) Buffalo (Bob Barron 10-6) @ Jacksonville (Always Pissed Off 10-6) New York Giants (Cartman 9-7) @ Seattle (C Dubya 10-6) Arizona (Cena's Writer 10-6) @ Detroit (Bravesfan 10-6) The Other Place Seedings AFC: 1) New England (nl-asshole) 2) Cincinatti (slapnuts) 3) Jacksonville (always pissed off) 4) San Diego (porter) 5) Cleveland (sfa jack) 6) Baltimore (dr. tom) NFC: 1) New Orleans (bob barron) 2) Minnesota (kahran ramsus) 3) San Francisco (agent bond) 4) Philadelphia (teke) 5) Arizona (vern gagne) 6) Atlanta (steve joseph) Top two seeds in each conference have a bye. Wild Card Weekend: Baltimore (Dr. Tom 9-7) @ Jacksonville (Always Pissed Off 9-7) Cleveland (SFA Jack 10-6 @ San Diego (Porter 9-7) Atlanta (Steve Joseph 9-7) @ San Francisco (Agent Bond 10-6) Arizona (Vern Gagne 10-6) @ Philadelphia (Teke 10-6) Edited January 5, 2006 by kkktookmybabyaway
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2006 (edited) SCORING: Whoever picks the most correct winners in each match-up advances to the next round. Example: * Dr. Tom picks Tampa, New England, NY Giants and Cincinnati to win/cover the spread. * Always Pissed Off picks Tampa, New England, NY Giants and Pittsburgh to win/cover the spread. * Tampa, New England, Carolina and Cincinnati win (meaning they covered the spread). * Dr. Tom beats Always Pissed Off 3-2 If there is a tie then the first tie-breaker will be whoever was more accurate in picking the total scores for all four separate games. Example: * Vern Gagne picks Tampa to win 16-10, New England to win 20-10, NY Giants to win 20-3 and Cincinnati to beat the spread 16-17 * Teke picks Tampa to win 20-10, New England to win 17-3, NY Giants to win 10-0 and Cincinnati to win 20-0. * Tampa wins 21-7, New England wins 30-14, NY Giants wins 3-0 and Cincinnati wins 20-17. * Vern and Teke are tied at 4 correct picks each and move on to the first tie-breaker. * Vern had a total of 26 points selected in the Tampa game (16 for Tampa, 10 for Washington), Teke had 30 (20 for Tampa, 10 for Washington). The final score total is 28, so Vern and Teke TIE that game. * Vern had a total of 30 points selected in the New England game, Teke had 20. The final score total was 44, so Vern wins that game. * Vern had a total of 23 points selected in the New York game, Teke had 10. The final score total was 3, so Teke wins that game. * Vern had a total of 33 points selected in the Cincinnati game, Teke had 20. The final score total was 37 so Vern wins that game. * Vern defeats Teke 2 games to 1 in the first tie-breaker. If there is still a tie after the first tie-breaker, the second tie-breaker will be combining the total points of all four games and seeing who is closest to the total score of all four games – the first tie-breaker had all four games counted separately. The third tie-breaker will be seeing who is closest to every team score. If there is still a tie after the third tie-breaker then I’m going to shoot myself. But before I do I’ll flip a coin to determine the winner -- heads the “road” team wins, tails the “home” team wins. I would like predictions by midnight, Saturday, January 7. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2006 (edited) Well it's kinda lame to give the nl-asshole award to the person it's named after. I want to wait until your dead before naming it the nl-asshole award, but I'm sure you'll live much longer than I will, so there's no time like the present to see who will get the award this year.
