I started with Reds because I was a skinhead and that's what all the other male skinheads smoked. The byrds (skinchicks) all smoked Camels.

In retrospect I wish I'd started with something a bit milder, because I had grown so accustomed to the harsh burn of the Red that when I'd bum a non-Red off people, it didn't really feel like smoking.

Somebody might have said this, but I don't want to read all the postings. It isn't an original thought. A lot of anti smoking commercials are funded by tobacco companies by mandate of the government. So they may be that obnoxious intentionally.

Camel non-filtered cigs are the worst. Those, or Lucky Strikes.

Oh, you can fuck right off, ya pussy. Can't handle the Lucky.

I can handle them, but Iwouldn't choose to smoke them. I'm not really a heavy smoker, though.

Why is it that everyone (well, white people) claims that Newports are too harsh, when Reds are more harsh?

I smoked a pack of Lucky Strikes over a period of several weeks once, as a supplementary or emergency pack. They were all right, but I wouldn't get them again for a long time.

I smoke the emo/hipster/scenewhore-approved Parliament Lights.
