WWE 24/7 Online February Listings

Recommended Posts

WWE 24/7 Online features an eclectic mix of matches in February, uncovering several hidden gems that few have seen before. Matches from the England-only pay-per-view Rebellion and the Australia-only pay-per-view Global Warning are now available for all to see. Also, check out one of Hulk Hogan’s earliest matches from the AWA, Goldberg’s debut in WCW and one of The Rock’s earliest RAW matches. Don’t miss all of this and much more this month on WWE 24/7 Online.

WWE Raw - Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Bastion Booger

January 10, 1994 | Approx. run time: 4 mins.

Bam Bam Bigelow was one of the most agile big men in WWE history. Bastion Booger was…well…one of the grossest big men in WWE history. Who would come out on top of this hard-hitting contest?

WCW Starrcade - Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes

November 22, 1984 | Approx. run time: 18 mins.

Ric Flair has had several legendary rivalries over the years, but few can match up to his rivalry with Dusty Rhodes. It was the limousine riding, jet-flying, kiss-stealing son of a gun against The American Dream. This was just the second Starrcade ever, and boxing great Joe Frazier was a special referee. Could Dusty overcome Flair for the title?

WCW - War Games Match

July 23, 1989 | Approx. run time: 26 mins.

Watch The Road Warriors, The Midnight Express and Steve Williams take on The Samoan Swat Team, Road Warrior Hawk and The Freebirds in a War Games Match

WWE RAW - Howard Finkel vs. Harvey Whippleman -Tuxedo Match

January 9, 1995 | Approx. run time: 4 mins.

This will certainly go down as one of the most unique matches in RAW history. Howard Finkel is known for announcing the competitors in each match, but in this one, he becomes a competitor. Howard was having a hard time with manager Harvey Whippleman at the time, so they decided to solve things like men…in a Tuxedo Match.

WWE RAW - King Kong Bundy vs. Mabel

January 30, 1995 | Approx. run time: 6 mins.

Where’s the beef? In the ring on RAW, of course. The walking condominium King Kong Bundy takes on Mabel, who is now known as Viscera. It’s the irresistible force vs. the immovable object. Who would come out on top of this battle of behemoths?

WWE RAW - Rocky Maivia vs. The British Bulldog

January 13, 1997 | Approx. run time: 11 mins.

Check out one of The Rock’s early matches on RAW. Just a couple of months after his debut, a red-hot Rock took on the late, great British Bulldog. Could The Rock keep riding his momentum or would the veteran put him in his place?

WWE SmackDown - Rock & Hogan vs. Storm & Christian

July 25, 2002 | Approx. run time: 11 mins.

The Rock and Hulk Hogan have had some classic confrontations, but on this edition of SmackDown they were partners, taking on the World Tag Team Champions. Lance Storm & Christian looked like they were about to lose their newly-won tag titles, but then Brock Lesnar made his presence felt. Find out why Lesnar interjected himself into this one.

WWE Global Warning in Australia – The Rock vs. Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

August 10, 2002 | Approx. run time: 21 mins.

This rare match was never seen in the United States. Now is your chance to see this rare classic from Australia. With three huge names like The Rock, Triple H and Brock Lesnar involved, anyone could come out on top. Would the Rock Bottom, the Pedigree, or the F-5 reign supreme in this Triple Threat Match?

WCW Nitro - Goldberg vs. Hugh Morrus

September 22, 1997 | Approx. run time: 4 mins.

Goldberg had one of the most impressive winning streaks in WCW history. It seemed like no one could stop him. This was the match that got the streak started. He took on Hugh Morrus in this historic match. Check out how the streak was started.

WCW Starrcade - Bret Hart vs. Goldberg

December 19, 1999 | Approx. run time: 13 mins.

This Goldberg match is another historic one, but for much different reasons than his debut. Bret Hart was defending his WCW Championship at Starrcade against “The Man.” But this one will be remembered most for the kick heard ‘round the world. This is the match that resulted in the early retirement of Bret Hart. Thanks to a brutal kick to the head, the Hit Man was forced to retire due to complications from concussions that were a result of the kick. Don’t miss one of Bret Hart’s final matches.

WWE WrestleMania XV - Bart Gunn vs. Butterbean

March 18, 1999 | Approx. run time: 6 mins.

This was the infamous ending to the Brawl 4 All contest. The Brawl 4 All was a boxing competition among WWE Superstars. Bart Gunn shocked everyone by knocking out opponent after opponent and winning the contest. He tried to take another step farther by facing Butterbean at WrestleMania XV. Butterbean, however, had other things on his mind.

WWE Rebellion - Billy Kidman & Torrie Wilson vs. John Cena & Dawn Marie

October 26, 2002 | Approx. run time: 8 mins.

WWE 24/7 Online has uncovered another hidden jewel. This rare Mixed Tag Team Match took place on an England-exclusive pay-per-view. Could the unlikely pairing of John Cena and Dawn Marie defeat Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson?

WWE RAW - Trish Stratus vs. Stacy Keibler

October 11, 2004 | Approx. run time: 6 mins.

Stacy Keibler had a rare shot at Trish’s Women’s Championship during RAW, which was originating from Manchester, England. Trish was victorious, but after the match Molly Holly, Nidia, Gail Kim and Victoria all got involved. Don’t miss how this wild one panned out.

WWE Superstars - Honky Tonk Man music video

November 7, 1987 | Approx. run time: 2 mins.

Love him or hate him, The Honky Tonk Man knew how to entertain a crowd. Honky Tonk Man was known as an Elvis impersonator, but he also had his very own music video. This one has to be seen to be believed.

WWE RAW - Stacy Keibler vs. Terri Runnels - Lingerie Pillow Fight

September 2, 2002 | Approx. run time: 5 mins.

This one is not for the faint of heart. Stacy Keibler takes on Terri Runnels in one of the hottest Lingerie Pillow Fights in WWE history. You also can’t miss the post-match antics that see one of the Divas get tarred and feathered.

WWE - Booker T & RVD vs. Batista & Ric Flair

February 16, 2004 | Approx. run time: 11 mins.

Booker T is known as one of the best tag team competitors of all time and has won championship gold with multiple partners. This time he was teaming with Rob Van Dam and the exciting duo took it to the members of Evolution for the World Tag Team Championship.

WWE No Way Out - Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio

February 15, 2004 | Approx. run time: 21 mins.

Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio will go down as two of the greatest Cruiserweight Champions of all time. Chavo is known for having a more grounded style for the Cruiserweight division, and Rey takes to the air more often. Which Superstar’s style would lead to a win?

AWA Super Sunday - Nick Bockwinkle vs. Hulk Hogan

April 24, 1983 | Approx. run time: 19 mins.

Before Hulkamania was born, the Hulkster was competing in the AWA. He took on the legendary Nick Bockwinkle in this AWA classic. Don’t miss this rare Hogan match from early on in the Hall of Famer’s career.

WWE In Your House - Razor Ramon vs. 1-2-3 Kid

February 18, 1996 | Approx. run time: 17 mins.

Razor Ramon and the 1-2-3 Kid were the best of friends, but they were also the worst of enemies at times. These two would later go on to become members of the nWo, but they squared off in a rare Crybaby Match at In Your House. The loser was forced to wear a diaper. Would the Bad guy be the Bad Baby, or would the Kid be sucking on a bottle?

WWE No Way Out - Brock Lesnar vs. Eddie Guerrero

February 15, 2004 | Approx. run time: 36 mins.

This was Eddie Guerrero’s crowning achievement. Eddie was overpowered the entire match, but Latino Heat’s heart and desire would not be denied. Eddie Guerrero realized his life-long dream and became WWE Champion when he defied the odds and overcame the monster, Brock Lesnar.

When are they gonna add RR88 and the Slaughter/Patterson Bootcamp Match I keep hearing so much about?

Funny how the one Attitude match on there has the turnbuckles covered up.

Flair/Rhodes from Starrcade 84 is a nice touch though.

The crowd for Hogan/Bockwinkel has to be seen to be believed. That's the closest I've ever seen a wrestling crowd be to actually rioting. Gagne was a fucking idiot for not putting the belt on Hogan.

Yeah, think I'll stick with WWE 24 / 7 on TV.

The theme for this month is "Midget Mania" <_<

On the plus side, they've officially reached the nWo era on Nitro, with Scott Hall's first apperance. Still pretty surreal watching it today.

In a pleasant surprise, the 2-ring battle royal from GAB89 is actually the War Games match from the same event.

Yeah I checked today and they changed it on the listings. They put up a very generic description (which states one team has The Road Warriors and the other team has Road Warrior Hawk) and just put "WCW" instead of a show name. Good stuff, though.

Definitely. I also loved how Cornette and Ellering put their heads together before the match. Each had their note pads out jotting down tidbits as Corny shooed the camera away. Just a superb kayfabe visual.
