Check out these proposed designs for the 2008 stadium. Architecture is something I like to learn about and study, so anyone else who's interested in it, make your own pick. I'd build the second one.

Also, I'd go 11, but number 2 does indeed look pretty sweet.

 

Just as birds stuff the spaces between the woven twigs of their nests with a soft filler, the spaces in the structure of the stadium will be filled with inflated ETFE cushions. On the roof, the cushions will be mounted on the outside of the structure to make the roof completely weatherproof.

 

I just got an image of hundreds of people perching on any available space and coming down for food.

 

Also, is 'competation' an actual word? It looks like it could be one of those words that no-one actually uses in any sort of conversation, and just comes up in official headings.

Number 2 gets my vote. I like the spikey roof on it. Star Ocean said it best. Whoever designed these stadiums is obviously a fan of Final Fantasy X and X-2. Especially Stadium #1 which is a blatant copy of a Blitzball Stadium from the game.
