iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2006 Well Iggy, it always happens that once the leader gets cocky, something happens. Sorry it was Pujols, I'm kind of glad I picked 2nd in the draft now. Right now, I am hoping that Beltran is okay, and not out for 2-6 weeks like Pujols, though with Floyd out, Beltran pretty much has to play for them this week. It's easy enough to plug in Outfielders. My Pitching is not the best, but Schmidt sure has been nice. Punting saves I was doing, might go back to that. But still, two months in and this is where I am? I can live with that. I'm still glad I took Pujols. He'll be there for the playoffs which is what really matters, and I'd say his production over replacement for the early part of the season outweighs the weeks I'll miss him. Besides, I still have the second best player in the league in Soriano. My pitching has gone to shit lately though. Beckett's gone from looking like a Cy Young pitcher the first month of the season to looking like a AA pitcher the last week or so. He gave up 15 runs over 6 innings in his last two starts. Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2006 I'm getting more production from Ramon F'n Ortiz than Jake Peavy, Pedro Martinez and Johan Santana, have an offence lead by Scott Hatteberg, yet my last place team is up 9-1 on the league leader.
