CanadianGuitarist Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 Pardon my ignorance, bu 18 votes from whom?
Hawk 34 Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 Sir Charles Geno Auriemma are the sure fire selections.
alfdogg Posted February 18, 2006 Author Report Posted February 18, 2006 Pardon my ignorance, bu 18 votes from whom? There's 24 voters, but I'm not sure how many people they actually vote for.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Barkley Wilkins Dumars and possibly Adrian Dantley should get in.
Guest Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Who I want to get in: Barkley Nique Dumars Who will get in: Barkley Auriemma Nelson (if not this year, then next) Vitale (Dear God, I hope not.)
Vern Gagne Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 It should be the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame. Give the college people their own HOF. Like football does.
Fökai Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 It's also not distinguishing their college career from their professional career, because a college basketball Hall of Fame would ultimately have no fan interest in. Just like the college football edition. Although, I would like to see the NBA retreads being celebrated for the sole achievement of torching average talent on a nightly basis in college. Viva la Van Horn!
Slayer Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Although, I would like to see the NBA retreads being celebrated for the sole achievement of torching average talent on a nightly basis in college. Viva la Van Horn! Be sure to include any big name from Duke
Guest Princess Leena Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 And give women's basketball it's own HOF. That all of us can rightfully ignore.

Viva la Van Horn! Who cares if college basketball HOF doesn't have any interest. The current HOF, really doesn't have any interest. No one is gonna forget Dean Smith, or John Wooden because their faces aren't on some plaque in Springfield.
alfdogg Posted April 1, 2006 Author Report Posted April 1, 2006 'Nique and Auriemma are getting in, according to reports that were leaked. More to come, obviously, but they won't be *officially* announced until Monday night.
therealworldschampion Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Dumars is also in according to reports. If Vitale is let in, I bet he won't let anyone other than Mike Krzyzewzski introduce him during the ceremony.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Damn if Barkley gets snubbed from the 1st ballot Hall of Fame, i'll seriously be angry. Barkley is arguably the most talented PF to ever play the game.
therealworldschampion Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 One of the headlines on ESPN.com says he's in too.
Vern Gagne Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Sounds like Dave Gavitt is going to make it.
