Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Todd Bertuzzi found some linemates who will kivk his ass in gear, two young guys who skate their ass off in Burrows and Kesler. Its the best Bert has looked all year. Now all we need is for Morrison to step up and play well with Nazzy, were set. Ruttu is playing on that line now that Cooke is out with a Concussion. mike546 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 There is NOTHING better than beating the Islanders on the road. Its a fantastic atmosphere and its like a Ranger home game!
Guest NYankees Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Jagr with 4 assists tonight. That makes 113 points so far for the season. He just about has the mvp award wrapped up.
mike546 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 HAHA that was great. Jagr scores his supposed Ranger goal record goal, the Ranger fans give him like a 2 minute standing ovation, only to find out the puck hit Straka's foot and he got the goal.

Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2006 No, I'm used to it by now. 10 game losing streaks to end the season are the norm. At least the Lakers are gonna make the playoffs without all this hassle and jerking people around, if the Kings make it, my blood pressure's going to continue to drive me through the roof. Red Baron 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 It amazes me just how damn good Huet is for the Habs. I mean if he was playing regularly throughout the whole season like this, he'd be a contender for the MVP, IMO.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 HUET IS FUCKING 30 YEARS OLD!!!
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 As Pierre McGuire put it 'Have you have seen this many turnovers? They suck tonight!'. He's an ass, but he did raise a point. Chance for redemption, sort of, against Edmontom tomorrow.
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2006 That's why the Kings traded him. That and the fact that he can't play a full season. You'll see what happens when he's fatigued shortly. And McGuire's a dipshit that doesn't know anything about hockey, he and Healy together are awful. Calgary played awesome tonight, the Kings just didn't put pucks away. They had good chances on breaks and stuff.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 I'm surprised he hasn't considering how shitty Montreal defence is.
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2006 In about 5 games, Huet will be done. Also, I can live with the Kings suck because it means that they're going to sign a guy to a max deal (Luongo, Chara, possibly Redden are the names that come about), and they'll probably sign Blake and still have money to add a top forward if they trade Frolov, which I also think will happen. They're going to be way under the cap before signing anyone (thanks to that DOG JR coming off the books), and they've got a great Slovenian player coming over from Sweden. No biggie. If they were in the Leafs situation, I'd be shitting my pants. When the Ducks make the playoffs, I'll just head over to the Puddle to watch a few games. Hopefully they'll be playing Calgary or Detroit. Preferrably Calgary, because I actually like them. Like them in the, "those guys Phaneuf and Kiprusoff, they're pretty fucking good" kinda way. CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 For all my talk of the Leafs maaaaybe still having a chance, Florida has now won SEVEN straight games.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 For all my talk of the Leafs maaaaybe still having a chance, Florida has now won SEVEN straight games. They don't have much of a shot either. Six points down with 10 games left. I really, really, really want to see Tampa Bay drop to eighth (assuming the Sens clinch first place).
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 If Tampa slides, I can see them not making the playoffs.

If they can keep pace with the Devils and Habs, you will lilkely get your wish, as a tie would keep the Bolts in sixth thanks to their better record. Although, if the Bolts play like they should, that would be a fantastic series. Incidentally, all three of the teams mentioned above are favourites tonight. A pretty stripped down Sens tonight, with Redden, Chara and Fisher all out. The Rangers have lost five straight in Ottawa tonight.
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Fuck Crosby and Ovecken. Phanuff for Calder Trophy!
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Ovechkin is going to win the Calder. Habs play Washington tonight, and hopefully take sole contention for sixth place in the East.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Fuck Crosby and Ovecken. Phanuff for Calder Trophy! Phaneuf is easily the most overrated player in the NHL right now. I'd say Todd Bertuzzi except everyone has figured out that he sucks by now.
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Fuck Crosby and Ovecken. Phanuff for Calder Trophy! Phaneuf is easily the most overrated player in the NHL right now. I'd say Todd Bertuzzi except everyone has figured out that he sucks by now. Please, if anything Phaneuf is underrated. He got snubbed from the Olympics despite playing better then pretty much 80% of the defense-men picked to go, and now he gets no mentions for the Calder. He's a big reason why Calgarys been succesful, his defensive and offensive play. And trust me I hate the guy, he's a dickhead in person. A couple months ago at the club, he got stomped by some big guy for mouthing him off. He's known to be a dick around the city.
stahl 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 he gets no mentions for the Calder That's not true, I think most people believe he will come third in voting behind Ovechkin and Crosby. He may even get second. No way will he win it though. Ovechkin is a lock.
Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Phaneuf beating out Lundqvist (who's a legitimate Vezina trophy candidate right now) in the Calder voting would be ridiculous.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 For the Calder, it should go Ovechkin, with Lundqvist second & Crosby third (Svatos would be my candidate for 3rd if he'd stayed healthy). Even Brad Boyes deserves as much attention as Phaneuf, IMHO.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 1) Ovechkin 2) Phaneuf 3) Lundqvist 4) Svatos 5) Crosby I'd have re considered Svatos as a legitimate contender if he hadn't gotten hurt four weeks ago.
Guest Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Daniel Briere got suspended for "high-sticking". I think the NHL wanted to get him for the diving exhibition last night, that's the reason for the quotes. Ovechkin, Lundqvist, Crosby. Haven't seen anyone as good and as complete a player as Ovechkin burst on the scene in a LONG time.
Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2006 Trust me guys, I'd even say Phanuef is playing better then Robyn Reghier right now. I've been watching the Flames pretty much every fuckin game, a big reason why we are in the playoffs is because of Phanuefs play. No rookie Defense men has impressed me this much in the longest time. Phanuefs contribution to a winning team >>>>>> Crosby's and Ovechkin's teams flopping. But W/E I do understand Ovechkin getting the award because of his exciting play.
