haVoc Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 WrestleMania Rewind March 6, 2006 This Monday Night on RAW, both WWE Champion John Cena and Triple H will compete in WrestleMania Rewind Matches, as they face WrestleMania opponents from their past. “The Game” will face his WrestleMania XV opponent Kane while The Champ will square off against WrestleMania XX opponent Big Show. Don’t miss these two huge RAW matches as the past meets the present — all leading up to the WWE Championship main event at WrestleMania 22. In an Intercontinental Championship rematch, Shelton Benjamin defends his newly won title against Ric Flair. Last time, “The Dirtiest Player in the Game” was the victim of Benjamin and momma’s underhanded tactics. Will “The Nature Boy” answer back and re-capture the Intercontinental Championship? Watch RAW to find out. And one week after slapping Torrie Wilson on WWE.com Unlimited, Candice will make more waves by revealing her Playboy cover live in the ring. Don’t miss what is sure to be one of the sexiest moments of the year. Last week on RAW, the McMahons forced Shawn Michaels to join the “Mr. McMahon Kiss My Ass Club” in the most humiliating fashion imaginable. How will HBK deal with such humiliation this week? And what will “The Showstopper” have to say about the announcement that he’ll face Shane McMahon at Saturday Night’s Main Event as well as Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania 22? Watch Monday Night RAW to find out. In addition, Maria goes one-on-one with Lita. All this and much more this Monday night on RAW (9/8 CT; USA Network).
Enigma Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I'll be sure to watch something else during Maria vs. Lita.
Downhome Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I'll be sure to watch something else during Maria vs. Lita. Are you nuts? That will be one of the things that I make sure that I watch every second of.
CanadianChick Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I would say it'd be so bad it's great, but we've seen so many of those matches with the current crop of girls that the trainwreck appeal has almost worn off.
haVoc Posted March 4, 2006 Author Report Posted March 4, 2006 Can see where this is going. Triple H and Cena win their matches this week so Vince will make them team up next Monday and they'll win the tag belts before heading into Saturday Nights Main Event.

The old Vince Russo staple of "tag team partners who don't get along".
iggymcfly Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 God, that show sounds so completely unappealing. Everything I read in the preview just made me want to not watch the show.
Guest Gary Busey Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 The old Vince Russo staple of "tag team partners who don't get along". That's been a classic booking technique since pro wrestling first began.
cabbageboy Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 Did anyone else wonder what Van Dam was doing on this show? Lemme guess...this week a squash of Tyson Tomko!
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted March 4, 2006 Report Posted March 4, 2006 I'll be sure to watch something else during Maria vs. Lita. Are you nuts? That will be one of the things that I make sure that I watch every second of. It wont reach Ashley levels hideous, so it wont be worth it.
Downhome Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 It's always worth it when Maria is involved.
Guest Dam(o)nYankees Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 Maria is worlds better than Ashley.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 Did anyone else wonder what Van Dam was doing on this show? Lemme guess...this week a squash of Tyson Tomko! Is T Squared still around?
Guest Princess Leena Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 I liked Maria better when she wasn't attempting to have matches.
SuperJerk Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 “The Game” will face his WrestleMania XV opponent Kane while The Champ will square off against WrestleMania XX opponent Big Show. How far did they have to reach into their ass to find that reason to hype the matches?
The Amazing Rando Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 "Wrestlemania XV Rematch" - HHH vs. Kane "Wrestemania XX Rematch" - Cena vs. Show "IC Title Rematch" - Shelton vs. Flair "Oh, and by the way" - Maria vs. Lita ...which one of these is not like the other.......... Oh...and...Foley/Cena saves Maria from Edge, for like the tenth time.
SuperJerk Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 And one week after slapping Torrie Wilson on WWE.com Unlimited, Candice will make more waves by revealing her Playboy cover live in the ring. Don’t miss what is sure to be one of the sexiest moments of the year. Its the sexiest thread of the year!!!!!!
Hawk 34 Posted March 5, 2006 Report Posted March 5, 2006 They should bring Tatanka over to Raw, for a WMIX rematch with Michaels.
Guest 1916 Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 HHH/Kane? Didn't we see this roughly 1008 times in that godawful period of Post WM-Pre-InVasion 2001? Didn't it suck hot steaming donkey dick about 1007 of those times? Not to mention all the Katie Vick shit. I know it's only a Raw match but come on, at least give us something fresh. Cena/Show was decent at WMXX, but that was mainly due to the hot crowd, and the fact that it was the opener to one of the biggest shows of all time, than the actual guys involved. I'm not really looking forward to this match either, but to me it's still 100x better than Trips/Kane again. EDIT: Spelling, sorry
hyperchord24 Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Cena/Show should be interesting, if for nothing else the crowd reaction, seeing as Show is sort-of a tweening face. Makes me wonder what he'll have to do to get booed.
cabbageboy Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 In all fairness HHH and Kane have had a few decent matchups. The one for the IC title (chain match) at Judgment Day 2001 was solid in fact. It's mostly the whole Katie Vick angle that sours people on these Kane/HHH matches.
Lord of The Curry Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Cena/Show should be interesting, if for nothing else the crowd reaction, seeing as Show is sort-of a tweening face. Makes me wonder what he'll have to do to get booed. Show could walk into the crowd, rip a fetus out of a pregnant womans body and feast on it's innards in the middle of the ring and still get cheered over Cena.

It's mostly the whole Katie Vick angle that sours people on these Kane/HHH matches. You're right the chain match wasn't bad at all. The Katie Vick angle was horrible, and thus peoples reactions to the matches probably would have been bad no matter how good or bad they were. That being said, I just wasn't a fan of their matches together dating back to 1999 even. Something about the paring always seemed boring, and predictable to me. Maybe because Kane never, or at the most hardly ever won.
Aero Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 Is Haas still coming back tonight? Was he supposed to come back tonight?
