Si82 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Matt Hardy vs. Chuck Palumbo (dark match?) I didn't think Chuck Palumbo was still employed by WWE.
claydude14 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I don't think he is under contract but I remember reading recently that he might return soon, don't remember when or where I read that though. I assume this is part of his try out.
Just John Posted March 8, 2006 Author Report Posted March 8, 2006 Hmm. I thought they'd wait until Mania to blow off Lashley/Finlay. Oh well, should be a decent match. The rest looks pretty average, but Benoit/Helms could be good if it gets time.
Aero Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Palumbo also had a dark/Heat match Monday against RVD.
Guest Chrisly_2005 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Matt Hardy vs. Chuck Palumbo (dark match?) I didn't think Chuck Palumbo was still employed by WWE. He wasnt but I am pretty sure that they decided to pick him back up or at least give him another tryout only because his brother was in attendance at the RAW Afgan trip.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Kurt should wear longer tights when wearing a T-Shirt He looks like he's wearing no pants.
haVoc Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 How many viewers you think this show lost already when people turned it on and saw Mark Henry?
Downhome Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 I'd like for someone to please explain what just happened, something that always happens: -The heel asks for a title shot. -The face agrees and they start to exchange blows. -Another heel shows up to beat up the face. -Another face shows up to even the score. Now, why in the hell would the heel who asked for a title shot, and was granted it by the face, be happy that he instead ended up getting a typical, cliche, tag team match instead? I've always hated how that plays out. Why don't they have the GM (or whoever is in power) come out and say that since the two heels teamed up against the face, instead of the title match that he was first granted, he would instead be forced to be in a tag match instead. I know that's been done before, but they usually don't do anything like that, and instead have the heel just be happy losing the title shot.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 So...Shaleihlie on a pole match between Finlay and Lashley in the near future?
Downhome Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 This is the first time I've ever enjoyed Lashley, and Finlay is badass. I approve of this feud.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 This is the first time I've ever enjoyed Lashley, and Finlay is badass. I approve of this feud. Same here. They should do more feuds like this one.
Downhome Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Random SD note: On a recent PWInsider audio report, they said that Animal recently stated in an interview that he plans to wrestle for two more years, and then from there become an agent.
SuperJerk Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Holy shit...the crowd dug the entrance. This gimmick actually has a shot of getting over.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 ...I like Birchill's entrance. That was neat. I hope a Smackdown comes here soon so I can see that live.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Burchill's entrance is...different. I kinda like the swinging in and all, since it DOES suit the character. Inverted full nelson?? AWESOME. And yeah, I'm enjoying Finlay and Lashley beating the crap out of each other every week. This feud actually makes sense.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 If Birchill somehow gets into WrestleMania this year, he should come out riding on a Pirate Ship Float. ...hell, put BIRCHILL in Money in the Bank. That would be cool!
Downhome Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 I also now approve of Burchill the Pirate.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 If Birchill somehow gets into WrestleMania this year, he should come out riding on a Pirate Ship Float. I was actually thinking that. Shit, if Cena can come out of a spaceship or whatever, they can pull the Tampa Bay Bucs ship outta their stadium for one night. Man, Paul nearly pulled a Lesnar on that C4. Better hit it better than that or they won't let him do it anymore.
ChrisMWaters Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Man, Paul nearly pulled a Lesnar on that C4. Better hit it better than that or they won't let him do it anymore. Well, I think there's two reasons why Birchill didn't hit that as good as he usually does: 1)New ring boots than he's had before as well as ring attire. 2)William Regal was the one taking it, and may not have giving Birchill much to work with.

Yeah, both valid reasons. Still, given the E's penchant for overreacting to "dangerous" moves, I'd just like him to hit it better.
SuperJerk Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 That JBL segment earlier made me realize that JBL is just one midcard title away from being a Grand-Slam champion.
Downhome Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 They are using all of my least favorite groups in an angle. Wow.
SuperJerk Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 The NAACP's Bruce Gordon is a real person, by the way.
Downhome Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 He should have come out of that bag, like the woman did in WCW once.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 They are using all of my least favorite groups in an angle. Wow. Including worm advocates?
ChrisMWaters Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 He should have come out of that bag, like the woman did in WCW once. That only worked cause the girl was a contortionist. I doubt Boogeyman is that flexible. Incidentally, I can easily see...once this current version of Boogeyman goes out of style...they turn him into a disco-loving fool.
