Guest El Satanico Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Jarhead Good Night and Good Luck History of Violence If you've seen all three, which are good blind buys and which make better rentals?
DMann2003 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Seen Good Night and Violence, thought both were great I'd probably give Jarhead a blind buy, I did Walk the Line
razazteca Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 All I have to say is go rent everything that Takeshi Kitaro has directed.
Guest Retro Rob Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 I'd say rent Jarhead. Visually the movie is stunning and the story is solid, but I felt like I could have done without paying $9 to see it in the theater.
Guest Posada20 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Liked History of Violence the most and it may have the best replay value out of the three choices.
C Dubya 04 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Liked History of Violence, but disagree on the replay. I'd say it's a good rental.
Guest Vitamin X Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Jarhead Good Night and Good Luck History of Violence If you've seen all three, which are good blind buys and which make better rentals? I'd say Good Night, and Good Luck makes the best blind buy considering that it's something you can reference back to and show other people as well. Jarhead would make one as well, but it's a bit of a niche movie, you should see it before deciding to buy it or not. History of Violence is a good rental, I'd say, but I didn't like it enough to own personally.
spiny norman Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 I wouldn't buy any of them, but Good Night and Good Luck is worth watching.
Lil' Bitch Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 If you buy Jarhead at Wal-Mart, you get Spy Game for free with it.
