Dogbert 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2006 I bought FIFA Soccer 2005 yesterday. It's pretty good, when I actually get to play it; you see, after a few minutes of having the game on, my computer makes a clicking sound, and then turns itself off. What the hell is up with my laptop?

I have a Toshiba. It was top-of-the-line last May, which is after my game hit the shelves. The sound is coming from the area around the Start button. I have an ATI Radeon 9000 card, or something like that. It supports NHL06 and Madden NFL 06 perfectly. It only happens when I try to play a game of FIFA Soccer 2005. It's never happened before that. A Happy Medium 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Is it a satellite? I got one in January of last year and am having similar problems with my Toshiba. Is your computer very hot when it dies?

Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Could be your hard drive overheating, could be a fan failure. Could be that the heatsink isn't cooling the processor well enough. There's no way we can tell by you just describing to us what the sound is like, so I'd look into those things.
Angles Broken Fricken Neck 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2006 i had this clicking with one my my toshiba laptops years ago, turned out the hard drive was on its way out. And on my most recent it used to switch off due to over heating. Could be a combo of both the problems
