Guest Evolution Report post Posted March 22, 2006 World Death League Eight teams Zodiac League Toronto All-SARS Washington Hollowpoints Galveston Hurricanes Los Angeles Rodney Kings Hussein League Norway Midnight Suns Chengdu Coughing Cardinals Ethiopia Epidemics London Plague Rats The league concept: To destroy all remaining baseball players all over the world, who have been labeled as sex maniacs and traitors to their respective countries, in light of the Oklahoma Orgy that ended the Smartmarks Fake Baseball League. How this is accomplished: Support from several financial sources has allowed the league to purchase special "suits" for the players in the league. These players will be outfitted with the suit, which will sense when their body has suffered an injury. If the injury is deemed by the sensors to be serious enough, an alarm will sound in a control room in the stadium, and several options can be made as to how the player will die. The most common mean of execution will be lethal injection--the sensors will flood the injured player with the same lethal doses that put down serial killers on Death Row. However, there are other ways to die in this league, whether from sniper execution--all stadiums are required to have a team of at least three snipers on hand to deal the fatal blow--or one that will be rare, a situation in which the sensors will release drugs into the other non-injured players, brainwashing them into swarming the injured player and ripping him limb from limb. Other methods of death have been promised by the WDL commission in the near future. Due to the high rate of turnover in this league from player deaths, all participants in the World Death League will be allowed to create one batter and one pitcher for play in the game. They cannot have two batters or two pitchers, it must be one and one. Also, the limit of rookies allowed to join before draft day has been extended from three to five, meaning that every year there will be at most ten new players joining the leagues from the ranks of TSM. In order to increase the death rate of pitchers, pitchers will be forced to hit in both leagues, a rule not enforced in the SFBL.
