The Ultimate Edition or the Extreme DVD? Thanks in advance.

for extras go for the UE

for picture quality go for the EE

i myself have the Ultimate Edition, great extras and DTS.

Yes, Cameron's first with co-writer William Wisher and it's a kickass one too

I had both but eventually sold the Ultimate and kept Extreme, I do care about Picture Quality, and this is one of the best

The Ideal set would be a 3 disc set with the Pic quality and commentary of the Extreme version and the two bonus discs from the Extreme and Ultimate versions.

I own Ultimate Edition because of the extras, and it has the theatrical cut (which I think Cameron actually said he preferred on the Extreme Edition DVD commentary).

Which is the one that has all the deleted scenes as part of the movie? (or rather, I guess it'd be the director's cut?)

Both Extreme and Ultimate have the original director's cut.

Ultimate also includes the rare "Sarah Connor as an old woman and John as a politician" ending as an extra.
